To be a successful record producer it's important to keep putting on and taking off a pair of tiny diamond-framed sunglasses. That's the key ingredient.
@@Theodore81547 No he wasn't. He just wrote a few good songs and whacked tons of echo on everything he recorded, plus happened to be in the right place at the right time. No genius.
@@andydixon2980 you'll never even come close to ever accomplishing a fraction of what Phillip did. He revolutionized the sound in the 60's. There's a reason he's in the rock hall.
@@Theodore81547 So what he accomplished makes him great does it? He was a sad, lonely man who didn't have any real friends or find lasting love due to his volatile, warped personality. He killed a woman. I feel sorry for the guy. Sure he made some good records, but I don't admire the guy, I pity him for fucking his life up and commiting murder. And who gives a fuck about the 'rock hall'......it means nothing.
Constant cloud since the man died. Sadness when he was locked up, but at least he knew he was respected and loved by many. Only wish I had sent more cards, more letters, and actually gotten in touch with his daughter. Phil is missed.
I've wondered the same thing myself. I've seen this clip on various documentaries and I love Darlene Love's vocals and the woo-hoo harmonies. It's a way catchy tune.
1:02 soon as the music stops she went from an angel to a coked out freak question is imagine what these people could do if they were sober, nowadays this singing is lost only talent show show off bs -.-

The wheels were always turning, he was a young genius. That can't be disputed.

@@andydixon2980 What he accomplished doesn’t make him a great person but his music is exceptional
Fascinating footage of Darlene, Fanita and Jean.
Gorgeous singing voices and then everyone knows late spector was a brain
And a murderer
I'm sure Spector had his way with every last one of them.., those slimy hands of his
That riff at the beginning is from an unused COMMERCIAL....Phil himself told me (2000) before he died....
he stole the riff from a song in a commercial?

Even sadder for the girl he blew away for no reason.

Anyone know the song?

The blossoms could be a good girl group under Phil Spector hand.
Again, this is from an unused COMMERCIAL....never released....

I wouldn't trade one moment of this "coked out freaks" actual talent to an hour of modern auto tuned shit that's on the radio today.
sounds like you do a little sniffing yourself. You for sure can't construct a sensible sentence.
@@28mark I shot a lot of coke but I am no pride month sniffer sally. As Leon Russell once told Phil Spector .... "Go Fuck Yerself".
I've read/watched alot about Spector. Never ever heard ANYTHING about drug use. Please cite source.
@@jimaglenn well as far as I can see they are all on coke why need a source lol
