@DonMills313 - I'm not sure, but the only major difference between the 60's and early 90's engines were the water cooled barrels, i belive they still used the same crankcase and heads

@72vwbuggen It's aiorcooled, look where the generator is, Subi's alternator ismore centered. It's probably bored and stroked to a 3 liter and lotsa boost

Classic VW's normally run 3/4 miles, for what reason I do not know. I just know that at our VW Car show they run 3/4's.
