The theme with these is replace black with black and white with white. The black tee has the angle to accommodate the hard line going into it and the white tee has the 90 for that hard tube. They have that setup that way because of how tight things are in that area, but just those small angles are enough to help get it all stuck in there. those are designed to not have constant tension on them and the wrong ones will eventually leak from vibration while under tension.

its not that its dirty. its because you require a special tool to remove the so called "quick connect fittings" that GM uses.

@2:20. I'm wondering if I will be able to dig out that O-ring and just replace that? I bumped that rear heater line when replacing the engine cover and I saw a few drips. Good video!

It probably has a crack in it. Take it off and inspect it. If it's good clean it up and reuse the oring.

@@chriskolar Thanks. Is it the same part number for both sides? My originals are two different colors. Black on right, off-yellow on left. I've checked out a lot of parts search engines without any luck.

just did the same thing rn for a side job on a 2002 escalade FML.... i was taking the engine cover off for a tune up. it has a 6.0L and i think the connectors might be slightly different if i am not mistaken. simple hour job always turn into a 3-4.
