I got my life back with the help of psychedelics and a lot of new activities I hoped would help reprogram my brain. It does take time, but I really believe psychedelics are going to make DBS surgery unnecessary

@@odaniv9717 I had really hood success with DMT, both smoked and also the oral form, ayahuasca. The DMT experiences yielded huge revelations specifically because i forgot how to have dystonia long enough for my brain to realize there must be a way to fix the problem. I also looked in the mirror when I was able to and could finally see that my neck was twisted up but it felt straight which was huge. After the trip ended I realized I still felt the same, so all the painful sensations from dystonia must in fact be a halucination of sorts which told me there must be a way to stop creating those sensations.
The best that came from this trip was I felt motivated to start meditating everyday and to my surprise I was back in the same psychedelic state without the use of drugs. There was something incredibly healing about spending time in that state.
Ayahuasca came a little later. I went for a walk and I had this huge revelation that my vision was all twisted up. Other revelations came about stored traumas in my neck. After this experience my brain started to realy heal ehatever was causing me to look at the ground instead of forward. That was about 10 months ago and i do have some more work to do but there are a number of things I do better than before dystonia now!
Basically, for me it was like I had to build a whole new personality to run my body. Not as simple as taking psychedelics and recovering but they showed the way forward. Please check out Hope For Dystonia here on youtube. He also was able to recover with the help of psychedelics

My neurologist believes I have dystonia. It hasn't been 100 % confirmed yet. I'm uncertain if I have it or not, but I'm certainly not like the person in the video.

My son was discharged from this hospital last year. We’re at another’s hospital now and I see Dystonia on his... pending diagnosis.
This sounds crippling and my son is so young... I wish I had the correct knowledge and help. Waiting to speak to Nuerology.
