If you haven't already...., get that flange to the turbo machine lathed to be truly flat. I run no gasket on a very even flange face with 0 leaks. Same older gt3582 turbo I run.. Awesome to see the new one in comparison Thanks for the footage
I thought I mentioned it but might not have. The tune ran so rich but because of that I was able to leave it untouched. I monitored everything and it all within acceptable Air fuel ratios. If I wanted to make 300whp I could go back and get it all dialed in and turn the boost up a bit more and it could easily make 300 but after 300whp the k20a3 don’t hold up long. So I’m staying right below 300whp until I do internals.
@@mihailpetrovici5044 yeah it's a b16a2 w/ rods, pistons 10.5:1 cr, good ram horn manifold, mishimoto J intercooler, 2.5" intercooler piping, 3" down pipe with full 3" exhaust, skunk 2 ultra street intake manifold, on e85 aiming for 400+ minimum hoping for 450whp but it's all in a CRX so space has been being eaten up lol

@@mihailpetrovici5044 nice! I was doing a vitara d series build but then I found then crx with a b16 in it and I loved the body so my plans changed, I think the vitara build is definitely best bang for your buck

The coolant inlet don’t fit because firewall clearance but the oil pump on this k20 is actually the same as the type s so I could use this one on a k24. I thought about going the k24 route but if i do that I will use a k20 head with bigger vtec cams locked in the head. It will make more power one day.

It didn’t have a 17 AFR at WOT i have failsafes to make sure I CANT do that. If it goes above 12:5:1 it will act like boost cut. If you seen 17 it must have been a error. Please tell me where in the video so I can see.
@@msalamlaham7129 I honestly was worried about temp more than anything since gauge on the dash don’t work for this setup but this engine stays cool so I could probably swap it around with the aem wideband lol
@@kevinthomas6311 very nice to speak with you im on a budget and I need of a set of head bolts but I have heard alot of bad stories when it comes to head bolts if there not arp or oem and both of them are 100 130 bucks so my question is what kind of warranty/ guarantee do you offer on you d16y7 head bolts
@@bryanhinson987 I haven’t had issues with other brand head bolts I think they are having issues from either user error or too much boost or something lol 😂 Either way i like using ARP head studs but I would be 100% open to using the other brands because won’t know if it’s any good unless I try it myself.
@@TexasHondaChannel thank you for the reply man love the channel only worry i have is currently my 2000 civic is my only car at the moment and having 3 kids can't afford alot and right now its n/a but do want to turbo when I have the money to it would be the first turbo car i have owned and bolts from honda have went up to 100 bucks and you can't reuse them so deff want to get head studs for future I know you have had really good products from jack spania and they are more in my budget right now with Christmas coming up and I know you have had a few turbo cars so you think ill be good using jacks Spania
@@bryanhinson987 I had a colleague of mine do a tenstile test on arp vs these ones, and the ones we and other sellers sell actually outperformed arp believe it or not.
I don’t like selling some things used such as turbos because if anything goes wrong they instantly blame me. For example; turbo seals go out because their setup has lower oil pressure they say “it’s your fault you sold me junk”. I will keep it as a back up just incase.

Haha, my last car was stolen at my last duty station and now that I am out I have no budget. 100% disabled and need to build a daily driver as my truck gets bad milage so time for my crx to rise from the ashes. I bought a k20 after my first deployment but haven't had time or money to drop it in. I bought Jack Spania mounts because of your channel and hope to have a honda daily again at some point. If you do have some old stuff that you aren't using I could use the help. Thank you, Justin

No no i needed to put HEAT in it so it was at operating temperature because the vtec won’t engage until it reaches operating temperature. This massive radiator works too well so it takes a bit to warm up. Lol

Get the smaller one if you are going for under 400hp and you have rods in the engine. Gt35 for 200whp is kinda abussive

Nah no one else has sent a turbo kit. Jackspania is going to send a turbo manifold but hasn’t yet.

Im the owner of Jackspania Racing, the head bolts all come from the same factories pretty much.

You only put one heet in your motor
No no i needed to put HEAT in it so it was at operating temperature because the vtec won’t engage until it reaches operating temperature. This massive radiator works too well so it takes a bit to warm up. Lol
