Nikki Blonsky seriously deserved an Oscar nomination for her performance in this film. She was absolutely brilliant. She totally matched the director's vision (the entire cast did!) and she had so many impressive musical numbers. Her acting was absolutely spot-on and utterly charming. I totally fell in love with her portrayal of Tracey in this film and I had never seen the musical beforehand.

I go to college in Baltimore and contrary to popular belief, the city is beautiful and many parts are safe. There is fun festivals and charm around every corner. Fun story, my brother and I went to theather to see harry potter, but at the theather they played this instead, and for first 2 minutes I was like wow, this feels different than other movies, and as it went on other people at the theather realized it wasnt the right movie, so they changed it. But after listening to this song i asked my dad to watch hairspray with me and we loved it

Fun story, my brother and I went to theather to see harry potter, but at the theather they played this instead, and for first 2 minutes I was like wow, this feels different than other movies, and as it went on other people at the theather realized it wasnt the right movie, so they changed it.
But after listening to this song i asked my dad to watch hairspray with me and we loved it
