Probably the best explanation of DD I've come accross in a while. This is one tool that you can use to tackle any problem. That slide at 6.23 is epic!!!
Thank you man I literally watched more than 20 videos from your channel. I don't know, but man you know what are you talking about :) Wish you all the best. Keep your great videos coming.
All good and well, you didn't though cover the iterative nature of the double diamond and how to process can go back and fourth between those two diamonds
Would it be overstepping to place usability or concept testing in a third hypothetical diamond? I.e. putting the prototype or concept in front of users, you’d be diverging once again, and based on feedback you can converge to the final prioritized feature set?
That's exactly how you should use it. Basically any problem solved with design thinking can have its own double diamond - big or small. Your testing of existing design and then making ammends would warrant a double diamond if that makes sense. So you'd really have diamonds within diamonds as much as you'd like
Interesting topic, and great work on the video! I personally think the visual communication of this model needs some help. For example, in this video, you never even explained that the double diamond model was supposed to be read as a process from left to right! And what are the vertical lines supposed to symbolize? I think you could have handled this with your infographics, by use of some arrows or, perhaps more intuitively, motion graphics. I think it might also help to visualize the ideas and choices you make along the way, as branching paths of possibilites - it seems the little red dot in the video is following a path, but no paths are shown to the viewer. You are basically trying to visualize the concepts of expansion (exploring, brain-storming, ideating etc) and concentration (making solid choices, specializing, editing, refining), right? Maybe think of other fields that work with communicating these concepts, what visual languages do they use... Just some thoughts!
in biblical, there is a lot of confergen and divergent thinking...and if we use metacognition proses and CREATIVITY with NATURE estetic capability so....... we can draw like DIAMOND.

It would be great if there's any caption for non english speakers so we can understand better. Great video tho
Do you have a link to the slide you used? Great video!
Hey, been a while. I'm sure you can screenshot or find a similar on Google?
