@@alexdewar6855 The Telegraph are reporting that points deduction won't be done away with entirely. Supposedly the PL want to add an extra layer where if you overspend by a relatively small amount you can pay a fine, but if you hugely overspend you can still be subject to a points deduction. So long story short we might be able to overspend a little bit, but it mightn't be worth it, and we still won't be able to spend what we like and just pay a fine. This of course is assuming that the Telegraph's reporting is accurate in regards to the PL's intentions.
@Aiden...80 we really need signings badly mate, so much dead wood and wages to clear because it's really hindering us right now. I'd say get rid of at least 7 or 8 and bring in 5 or 6 prem standard players

Looking at the bench during the last game, looking at the injuries this season, the tonali situation, and I honestly think if we do finish in a European spot, it's a bigger achievement than last year, and will give the players even more belief, and we will fly next year

He’s been exposed so many times at left back. As soon as he moves back to his natural position at CB he plays really well, it’s no coincidence.

Can someone explain to me the question about Bruno's yellows? How would he only miss one if he got two yellows? Cos Gordon is still 1 booking away from a ban after his two yellows?
2 yellows= red, so Gordon didn't get a yellow. So still 2 yellows away from a new 2 match suspension. But yellow cards only counted up to match 32. So Gordon just has to avoid getting yellows in both the next 2 games and will avoid any suspension.

If I ran 40 km a week I'd be more likely to twist an ankle after months of it. Dan Burn is a good guy and is one of us, but the criticism of his performances and favouritism at being selected at left back was fair and totally down to Eddie keep selecting him. Dan always gives 100% for us, but if he's not playing well he shouldn't be beyond dropping out the team just because Eddie likes him. That is why people were criticising. Not because he had poor games, but because there was no consequence for those poor performances. Favouritism can make you resent players.
