With all the things that get dunked on in this show, drawing a line in the sand with The Offspring is wild.
I think your assessment of this game is more than FARE!
::SLOW CLAP::
omfg the banter about how the grand masterplan of uber is for cars to drive themselves places to get people and someone will just collect the money but regular people won't be able to benefit monetarily from it because it'll already be monopolized by giant corporations by the time the technology hits any kind of mainstream capability is so fuckin good. you guys are the absolute best.
Props on getting that Juggalo to the gathering. Can always count on the continue crew to make dreams come true every Wednesday.

Whoop whoop
Jeff Lynne’s Piss Stream is an underrated all time Nick Murphy joke
It’s a joke for 4 people. Glad to meet one of them.
lol this is how I find out that Piss Stream Part II is still a thing
Other bands that did music for this game include Vomiting Adjacent, Gaslight Tickle Fight, and Accidental Mullet.
The soundtrack is pretty much all Australian 90s alt / grunge bands. The song where Josh said "why the hell are we listening to this" is sung by the dad from Bluey! But you should check out a different song by them to get a better idea of their sound. Look up Apartment by Custard.
That's so odd that a Japanese game is filled with Australian indie and alt rock songs lol
@@jimmyjoeman Australia is a lot closer, so maybe there was a stronger cultural link. Or maybe they got cheap licensing for songs that would sound American-ish to a Japanese audience.
If anyone is interested in this game Ross Scott made a game dungeon about it (or it's DOS version "Quarantine").
the beginning fmv looked like a sound garden video.
I played this game under its orignal game on 3DO and PC, and its sequel on PC (Quarantine II: Road Warrior) years ago, never knew it had Playstation port. This same game was also released on Sega Saturn also in Japan as Death Throttle: Kakuzetsu Toshi kara no Dasshutsu, and that version is uncensored!
paul fuckin' HATES the offspring
Thanks for the jumpscare @ 7:41 ...
Quarantine on DOS. I will always remember that HUD but never actually played this game.
I had this game on the PC and I thought I was the only person that ever heard of it. Had a different name though. Can't believe after all these years, one of my favorite channels is playing a game I thought only I knew about.
Thanks Paul for listing a bunch of 90s bands to check out
That was a big thing in Playstation games: the intro being like 45 minutes long. By the time it was over, it was like "do I really want to play this game?"

My cab is ROCK HARD
Love your show
Ni~ce! Haha all the band names sound plausible
And I agree Nick, it's (rock) hard taking the cab down south to da club
This game is nuts, really detailed with what it's got.
At least our driver keeps his hands at 10 & 2 the whole time. Safety first.
Your place to play hard, crush people like a rock, enjoy the music, win big and live the moment.
Ever since I was a kid, my favorite cereal has always been Oh's.
Nick repping the OZMA shirt! nice my dude!
i remember playing this game on PC, called "Quarantine" same game
I thought I was the only one who knew what this game was.
The driver in the intro looks just like Matthew Mercer!!
What? 'tinue on a Tues.... Aw hell yeah its Wednesday
love when the boys take me for a wild ride!
I love that you guys love Venture Brothers!
I can watch that show all day just like Continue?
It's a cab that rocks...hard.
(edited)
One game that comes to mind, while I was watching this, is Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012 (PS1). It's Twisted Metal, but you also pick up tourists to gain extra money. The developers are the same that did the first two Twisted Metal games, SingleTrac.
❤❤❤
i played this game on PC gawd 20 plus years ago.
I used to love this game on DOS. Called Quarantine. Played it again recently and didn’t enjoy it at all 😅
When is Continue? Palooza happening. And is it gonna be headlined by the Soup Dragons and Jimmie's Chicken Shack?
Can't wait for Continue Fest 2099!
It's like the cab life from Heavy Metal
I lived with my older brother during college and I'd often wake up to didgeridoo or keyboard playing, haha.
Heard the exact note Paul was talking bout in Diablo.
This isn't the Fake Taxi video that I wanted....
The best part about not being a big music guy is having no idea if the bands they listed are real or not. I love the mystery
I immediately got rock hard as soon as I saw this in my recommendations
When Justin Long sees this he’s not gonna be able to stop worrying if he looks like Ron Desantis!
Raisin bran was my favorite when i was a kid lol
It's a new lap record!
the band name section rules. NOUGET
I'm pretty sure that guy is actually Paul Rudd.
Recommendation: Bakuretsu Muteki Bangaioh (爆裂無敵 バンガイオー) it has a MisterPort. :)
on DOS it was far less janky
They renamed Quarantine?
Right? I had no idea they made this on the PS1
🥰😍🤩😘
This game was called Quarantine on the PC and Death Throttle on Sega Saturn
