I wonder what the Asobo's rendering devs had to say when the writers told them, I want a dam burst wave of 3D rats. This given the first game had as many rats as they render at the time. I mean we are talking two orders of magnitude more rats in these scenes.

An entire tidal wave of plague rats, able to turn an entire city ruled by a castle to rubble... Seemingly agitated by Hugo's dreams. How unfortunate that despite his skills, Vaudin's cynical and rather hostile approaches wound up being his downfall. There must be more to Hugo's dreams. What is the island? Who is the phoenix? What is it that can be found on that island?
