    Was having an anxiety attack and tried meditating & listening to some calming music, i calmed down a bit but was still anxious until i listen to this for about 15 mins and then my anxiety was absolutely gone. Thank you for this video 🙌🏼 sadhguru is the best 🤍

    Sorry there but I got an email from kriya support team of isha stating sadhguru has advised not to do sadhna from 11 to 1 (around midnight) in the night for people living in family situations. And even in the isha kriya FAQs its written its best to avoid doing it in the night .
    I think that's because energies dominate in a certain way during the night and may affect family situations.

      This meditation is harmful . It should have a WARNING about potential damage that could be done by doing this meditation. It is irresponsible for Sanguru to place it on Internet. I have to do re meditation to restore my body and mind and come back to a normal productive life.

      If you have no body and no mind, you cannot be alive. You are dead.
      The mind works, but cannot be seen.
      The body is seen, working continusly in all parts of the body - '
      Heart, Brain, Lungs, 5 special senses of seeing, hearing, smelling, speaking, tasteing.
      3 general senses of pain, touch and temperature,
      To remain alive you have to deal with all these body functions.
      It is shocking that ,a person of your calliber can convert truths to unreality without hesitation.
      You and your body can be thrown away without question.
      Please submit to common sense and reality misleading innocent brains stopping the spread of wrong ideas.

    I have a question, can someone help me out. I used this meditation for a very long time and it helped me out in really difficult times. So i want to place the sentence as a tattoo on my back: I am not the body and i am not even the mind. Can somebody translate this for me in Sanskrit or the Tibetan language. If possible i want to place it vertically on my back so it's also important to not split up words because they are going to be placed vertical on my back.
    It would be really amazing if someone can help, i dont trust translation apps they all differ from each other.

    It is called Isha kriya.But it should be done upto minimum 12 minutes and maximum 21 minutes.Kindly don't modify anything .

    You distorted the real kriya. Never do this. It is like distorting surgical operation or medicine. Only difference, that distorted kriya creates sickness on energy level. For everyone - please look for and use the original kriya on Sadhguru and Isha portal.Pranam.

      We have a life inside us/an energy which is a part of the creator/the source of life. That is what we actually are. Our body is platform for us to experience life as a human being. Our mind is just a tool for us to live as a human, all of our thoughts and emotions is just a part of the human experience it is not you. So your mind & body are yours but they are not you. A simple way to understand is when you die you leave everything that is NOT YOU. For sure you will leave your body, mind, brain, heart & everything else on earth. What left is your soul which will continue its journey after this lifetime.

      Nawalpur Prankstars - it is not dangerous but it’s not meditation either. This is like 4th step of say a program. If you don’t know first 3 steps then it’s kind of pointless doing it. You need to know what and why you are doing something.

    Please help>>> I was doing this meditation with headphones while sleeping. It affected me in bad way. I an dysfunctional I fell lke my body and my mond detached from me Please can you help to bring it back ,

      @chris oconnell Hi, Chris. Thank you for your reply. Maybe it was supposed to happen, however I hardly survived. This meditation turned me to someone else, completely dysfunctional person. I was not able to do anything, sleep, sit, drive, eat, I felt like my brain and my body do not function in unison. I was not able to control my body. I felt that I am not going to make it, and I am going to die have no idea from what. L felt like my brain was trying to destroy & kill my body. It was a horror. My family tried to place me in mental institution. I survived & recovered because I am very strong personality. But, believe me not every person could do it. I am back to my normal healthy and productive life. It should be a warning in BIG RED LETTERS what kind of harm could be done to people by this dangerous meditation. This GURU is irresponsible person.

      @chris oconnell It is not a point. The point is that this mediation is unhealthy for people with healthy mind and body. It is like to take a poisonous drugs to destroy what you call an ego. You do not have to die to prove that we all the same it is a reason why we are not. The balance of nature manage this world not a guru who believes that he is a wisdom and spiritual leader. He is exercising his ego and enrich himself.

    How come this should work if Sadhguru always says that telling the mind what not to do is reinforcing it? Like with example of the monkeys: Don’t think about monkeys and only monkeys will pop up? There has to be another way to convince ourselves that body and mind are separated from us since what we want to remove will become our quality

    Denying body is not a good suggestion!!!! It is the body inner energy that gives your enlightenment !!! So your guru has to learn this
    So don’t say I am not body.
    Repeating Negative sentence is not ideal
    It has to be positive present tense sentence to be effective affirmation

      Here are the eight guidelines for creating effective affirming statements. You may want to write these down.
      Start with the words “I am.” These are the two most powerful words in the English language.
      Use the present tense.
      State it in the positive. Affirm what you want, not what you don’t want.
      Keep it brief.
      Make it specific.
      Include an action word ending with -ing.
      Include at least one dynamic emotion or feeling word.
      Make affirmations for yourself, not others.

      Priya Kulkarni - he is not teaching affirmations to anyone. This is a part of yogic sadhana but this channel has cut the explanations for the sadhana and who should do it. If affirmations are working for you then 👍🏽good. You should always do what is best for you. 🙏🏽

      @@pkul9583 madam this not the affirmation. We are trying to distance ourselves from body and mind. Affirmation are used to manifest. We are interested in mukti. Hope you will agree some time. Sadhgurus thinking is a way different and we all need to have strong foundation to understand. If you understand really from inside first thing will happen is u ll get deep sleep and three to four sleep ll be sufficient. U ll get 20hrs to experience life. That's great. This ll be just beginning....
