It’s the composite, the bonding is similar to a primer. It doesn’t really dry after curing
And I have the stupid gemzeez and it really doesn’t stick right so I get it the composite I do need big time

How do you grab the jewel? On the qtip? Did you have a drop of flowable on the qtip to stick?
I dip the q tip in a little out of water which helps the gem stick to it

You supposed to leave the etch for 1 minute not 20 second just a friend reminder since I am a professional tooth gem technician

I know a few tooth gem technicians and they all leave it on for 20 secs. I’m glad leaving it on a min works for you
Etch is literally acid. You could seriously damage a tooth when you leave it on for that long 😬 20 seconds is long enough to create a rough surface so the gem stays
my sister is a dental assistant & when I told her I wanted to do this her main concern was etch causing sensitivity so she recommended I use sensodine toothpaste for at least a week afterwards. She also says 20 seconds is enough
