i have a problem with enlarging the text using the shift+alt command. I don't where the fault is from, my computer or the version I'm using?

Ok. But why not just use the eraser tool to draw a straight line and divide the text? Or draw a line and use the divide function?

WOW, I really hoped I could do this. I am legally blind, I am on a 27" iMac running a easy to see resolution. Some of your moves were too fast & it was hard to keep up with the cursor. I will try to check out another video of yours & see if I can do this.....

Why is my shape builder tool not functioning like yours
Hmmm, also, the gradient tool in 2022 doesn't offer that bar. I don't know how to customize the gradient like that :(
I cannot get this to work on text. When I create my own letters out of shapes, it worked perfectly. For some reason with typed text, it doesn't work. There must be a setting or something I'm missing. When I go to create the shape with ATL Click, it deletes the entire rectangle immediately. I know someone knows the quick fix for this! Help! Thanks in advance!
You need to create the outlines for the letters. I was missing that too and had to rewatch the video a couple of times to get what i was doing wrong. 1:40

Hi please,why do u have to turn off snap to pixel then after finishing making the slice look, do turn it on again? Can someone do it when she/he doesn't turn off snap to pixel?
Snap to pixel makes it difficult to make precise points.
When I draw the line, the top half gets deleted. Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Thanks for your time and effort. For the beginners the part where you use the shapebuilder tool could have been explained a little more detailed because one doesn´t see what happens.
When i try to create the 1280x1280 px artboard it is no where near as big as your square. What can be the problem?
Are you sure it's not because you're zoomed out? Either that or you have a really high resolution monitor.

Didn't worked, for some reason when I select everything and then just try to remove the rectangle , then it removes the entire rectangle but not create a slice...it sucks

NOT easy to understand....this s NOT for 'beinners' its at LEAST for intermediate....and how did you get the gradiant background, you left it out...
