You need to hear Tab Benoit version from his "Nice and Warm" album. The guitar riff on his version is smokin'. Maybe you can listen to it and do a lesson on that version.
this song was written by the incredible Screaming Jay Hawkins (and I saw him perform it). Features heavily in Jim Jarmusch's first feature film, Stranger than Paradise, btw. The original is amazing.
@@jonmaclennan Very impressive Jon...I love having multiple versions to work with and of course you've already done the other one. I need to check out that 🎥 film Jim Jarmusch and this tune is enough of a pull for me to check it out.
Just saw your comment re B7. Yeh, a brief mention at 5.30 (mute 21202). Did you get around it? It’s an odd chord 1st time around. Another option: mute mute 4445, but this is higher up the fretboard. I find this one easy ‘cos you can bar the 4th fret notes with one finger. Or think of the notes from the chord: B D# F# and (the ‘7’th) A - find these on the fretboard and get your fingers to those notes. Best wishes!

Ace Jon, great lesson love John Fogerty...
Jon you have to do a Pt. 2 on the iconic solo by John Fogerty. It would really complete the lesson! Cheers!👍👍

Willie Nelson’s Blue Eyes crying in the rain would be in what time?
I count it in a 2/4 time signature. It's a country two-beat feel to me: ruclips.net/video/t9BuGhZ8OfI/видео.html
My man is trying to be marty
I hate when people don't add solos
You flew right by how to do a b7. I'll learn it from someone else.
