Wouldnt a G7-9 be G,B,D,F,A? A is the 9th. The best version is Alan Price, the Animals organist, if you can find it. I got it at a remote broadcast down in Columbus GA in 1966. On the Parrot Label. 45
ziblot123 hi there. Yes A is the ninth in a standard G9 chord but here I’m playing a #9 which really gives it that edge :) I’ll check out the version you mention, thanks.
Sir I've tried, but i couldn't. But the video is super. I want you to make video of the same song. 'i put a spell on you' by Annie Lenox, if want to see how one guitar solo in that song is beautifully done. Plz sir.
Cheers. It's a mixture of requests and songs I hear that I think will be interesting to learn (which is how I chose this lesson). I'm quite surprised by the number of requests I've been getting, as I started doing these videos simply to help a few of my friends who are learning guitar!
I have been playing off and on for years, have loads of tab books, magazines etc but you do the stuff others don't,interesting and less obvious song choices, great stuff, keep it going!.
I’m just curious what version of the song you heard the crazed strumming at the beginning, cause I haven’t heard it in any of Jay’s iterations of the songs…
Fantastic choice and lesson!
Thanks :)
Wow this is a great lesson! Thank you
good job on the lesson. thank you sooo much
You're welcome :)
best lesson on this one, thanks!

You are the best in web about that song after jay h. Thank you and I really don't get those who disliked video maybe they are just guitar nerds

the thing that throws me is the bass sound- ideally that could be broken down a bit as you go from tabs one compares the other.
Jason, great stuff as always, how do you decide which songs to do?

is there a chord sheet for this

me either
According to the chords on the screen, that makes it a 28 bar blues. Unusual.🤔
There's part of this where the chords go up a tone. I was hoping you would throw that in.
Can someone tell me where can I find the digitation of chords he is doing? It seems so different to me than what I find in google
I could write some out :)
Jason Read that would be amazing!!
Are chord diagrams ok?
Jason Read yeah I think so. The thing is chords I checked are played way to high in the guitar mast than you are doing :/ (beginner)
I could transpose this down a semitone to E minor. That would make it much easier to play.
At 2:57 did you mean Bb minor? you said B minor
i still dont know how to play it
TRUE
I STILL CANNOT PLAY IT
