Glad to know Niraj
very informative, you explained very simply
Glad you liked it Ameer
most words said by you sound kind of funny (the indian accent, not your pronunciation becuase that is spot on obviously) but when you say java it sounds like it was made for your accent not ours, that accent hits the word "java" and sounds more then perfect, anyway thanks for the tutorial this is perfect man and I love how it sounds when you say Java.
thanks for watching, I will improve my pronounciation
@@RaghavPal no you misunderstand me, your pronunciation is perfect, and the meaning over every word is carried over, I was just saying because of your accent, the word java sounds beautiful when you say it! I would never pressure someone who has already gone through the tremendous effort of learning an entire second language to try to hide their accent when the meaning is already clear lmao, especially when the accent adds sorta a heritage/flavor too your content lmao.
@@RaghavPal I have a friend with a deep german accent and I speak to brits all the time I really didnt mean anything when I was talkin about your accent lmao I am sorry I feel bad becuase your pronouncation is perfect the accent just is funny, and thats not like a bad thing or anything idk how to say it without sounding rude so maybe I just shouldnt have lmao I talk to my german friend about this stuff all the time tho so I didnt really think about it before I made the comment.
Ikr like when he said "java" bro that was crazy
Oh kay got it, thanks for the message, means a lot
Thank you very much. very clear and concise.

I used the same technique to install jdk v11 as prerequisite for Jenkins but most of the recommended pipelines are not installed because of the license issue. Any solution ? Also under the new item I cant view anything apart from freestyle project .

Hi
I have the same problem of login
How to download jdk8 and jre for mac os version 13.1.2 can u plz share
Hi Swathi, in case this way does not help you, just create an account on oracle by signing up and download the jdk you need
I’m confused after 6:02 when using the path, you say to copy the bin folder but I’m not sure what to do after that
Hi Tommy, we need to copy the path of bin folder in Path env variables, In your env variables you will find a variable called Path, here you can add the bin folder location, Imp: do not delete or overwrite the existing data
so I need java 8 for minecraft, but on the website in the beginning it doesn't show the different verions. what do I do?
can try to change ver number in url and check
very informative, i love this video tnx sir

amazing tutorial, thank you so much
You're very welcome!
The last message inspired me :)
Great Firos, Never Stop Learning
Hi i am abit confused at the last part of the video. Under path on the edit environment variable, I don't see the %JAVA_HOME%\bin so I just created one with the same name. But when I checked the version, it still stayed at 17.0 (I want to switch it to jdk12). What should I do?
Hope you update the JAVA_VERSION env variables, Open a new cmd prompt and check. Sometimes it may require a restart
Same, i now have no version because I accidentally deleted my old version
How can the ‘javac -version’ problem be solved?
It shows javac is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable problem or batch file.
Please help!!
Hi Mehuli, looks like java is not setup or env variables not set
Check this :
Java on Windows - ruclips.net/video/FqpmH8MVO6A/видео.html
Java on Mac - ruclips.net/video/NSvtis2fGlA/видео.html
but there are no differences between the oracle with this openjdk?
and why are the sizes different ?
There may be some changes in the open JDK, will need to check more in the documenation
Thanks man you saved my pc
You are welcome!
hi! So I encountered a problem, I can't extract files :( it says "Cannot create java-se-8u41-ri......Access is denied" :(
Hi Ana, this may be your systems for folder permission, can try to download at a diff location and check
I installed java 8 and set the java home and path to it.But when I try to open eclipse it it shows that it doesn't support java 8 version.it support from 11 version
You can either downgrade eclipse or upgrade java
Worked for me, thanks
Great to know this
this unfortunately doesn't work for me. from what i gather, it's because the shortcuts in C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath point to the other installations, and it won't let me modify them
Hi, I will check on this and will update if I get any info
Thank you you are the best in the world
Most welcome, humbled to see your message Prithviraj
Thank you, man, download jdk by your tutor help me with sbt project in idea. Sorry for English

Tq for this but i want to know jdk 8 support applets or not ?? Plz let me know .
HI Shifa, will need to check online for better insights
Tried this 27 April 2022. Appears that it no longer works. JDK Java Net no longer shows JDK8 but re-directs you back to Oracle
I will check on this Paul
Does open JDK has less functionality than Oracle JDK ?
@AutomationStepByStep Kindly answer my query.
Hi Shemant, I have not researched enough to give you a good answer for this but I believe there must be some differences, If I come to know will update here
Awesome, thanks a lot!
You're welcome!

Hi Sir
I have done everything same as u did in the video to install Java 15 but when i run the command to check it shows Java 16 instead of 15. Plz help
Check if in env variables JAVA_HOME and Path you have entries for Java 16
@@RaghavPal I didn't get it sir
Check this -
windows - ruclips.net/video/FqpmH8MVO6A/видео.html
mac - ruclips.net/video/NSvtis2fGlA/видео.html
Thanks a bunch 😊
You’re welcome 😊
I have been learning the postman tutorial provided by you they are great.
But i have doubt.. can i join any company directly as a API Tester or Performance Tester as a fresher..???
Plzzz clear my doubt im weak in coding ☹️
I understand that you don't have to be the best programmer for the test area. Yes, you will have to know about the actions of a QA, because the tester aims at the process itself and not the total coding
You can join at a junior level in a API Testing or Performance testing team, based on your skills and then grow from there as you will also need to understand the process, responsibilities etc
Openjdk is not the same as the Oracle JDK, there are some things that are only available in the official Oracle JDK.

Very useful video.
Glad it was helpful!
Now I'm just confused at java -version it says 1.8 but at javac it says 1.16 (which is the version I want)

2:29 there is no reference implementations when i click on the link, so i cant click on the version i need

@@RaghavPal I found the link i needed after i clicked on jdk 19(or something like that) link, i was on a new page and on the left was a list of all java versions from 7 or 8 to the latest

You are most welcome

right click on my computer and select properties

Glad to know it helped Nax
Thanks a lot 🙏🙏🙏
Always welcome
I went through these step 3 times, and my cmd still says I'm on version 16, not understanding why this is happening. I followed your steps and checked and rechecked what I've done all looks the same.idk what else to do. I have noticed when I typed in java version on my cmd it does not show java jdk, only java version, runtime, and server
Hi Ian, pls check your env variables
@@RaghavPal done that, all check the same as yours still no avail
Not sure, I will check and let you know If I find something

@@RaghavPal I may have figured it out, I just uninstalled all my java versions and installed jdk 15.2 my server now runs, so far.

I have follow your step to install java 11 from java 8. But i have some issues that between java and java compiler version is different. Javac -version is alerady use version 11 but java -version still using verion 8. Is there any solution to fix the issue? or it's not the problem?
Hi Aogami
There are a few potential reasons why the Java compiler version (javac) and the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version might be different.
* **You are using different Java distributions.** For example, you might be using Oracle JDK 11 for development and OpenJDK 8 for execution.
* **You have set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to a different Java distribution.** This can happen if you have installed multiple Java distributions on your system.
* **You have installed a Java plugin for your web browser.** This can cause the Java compiler to be used even when you are running a Java application in your browser.
If you are sure that you are using the same Java distribution for development and execution, then the most likely explanation is that you have set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to point to a different Java distribution. To fix this, you can either remove the JAVA_HOME environment variable or set it to point to the Java distribution that you want to use.
If you are not sure which Java distribution you are using, you can use the java -version command to find out. This command will print the version of the JRE that is currently in use.
If you are still having problems, you can try searching for help online or contacting the Java support team.
Here are some additional tips for troubleshooting Java problems:
* **Make sure that you are using the latest version of Java.** Java is constantly being updated with new features and bug fixes.
* **Check your system settings.** Make sure that your system has the necessary hardware and software requirements for Java.
* **Try running your Java application in a different environment.** For example, try running it from a command line or from a different operating system.
* **Contact the Java support team.** If you are still having problems, you can contact the Java support team for help.
@@RaghavPal I already set JAVA_HOME variables to newer version either on system variables and user variables. And yes, i use java 8 from original distributor before. Should i uninstall the priveous java version?
check what you get when you run command
java -version
@@RaghavPal Java 1.8 that i use before.
ok then java 8 is set on your system. In case you want to switch can search for How to switch java on your OS
Sir, I want to understand if there is any issue in creating a dummy login account with a new email and password to download JDK 11? It's for my personal use (learning purposes). Will I be charged for that? I remember I haven't provided any communication/card details while signing up and I downloaded .exe installer for JDK 11. please let me know
you can try it, do not do any payments
@@RaghavPal Thanks for the reply sir. I just thought it would be better if I use OpenJDK instead of Oracle JDK. So I deleted that .exe file as I never actually used it to install java. And then I downloaded OpenJDK java 11. I hope this won't land me in any trouble in future. Is that fine sir?
yes can use open JDK, hope you are using for personal use
@@RaghavPal Yes sir, It's all for personal learning purposes. I am currently learning Microservices using Project reactor. So I am upgrading from Java 8 to Java 11. I will be using the OpenJDK version for Java 11. Thank you for your advice and guidence.
for me it does not show the reference implementations
Please let me know the exact time in the video where it is referred.
thank you very much
