Regarding questions for any later version of openjdk, do as told in the video, just for the classpath, set it to just " . " without quotes, this enables to run jvm from any directory where you've compiled a .class file, using cmd on that perticular path.

edit :
ok, the classpath mentioned in the video gives, class not found exception while running some java code (at least for me)
I set it to "." and it works
"C:\Program Files\java\jdk-17.0.1\." did not work (in jdk 17 for me)
next time onwards I need to start reading docs to install....

Hi, do you know how to install java3d if i install jdk this way? I want to work with intellij idea IDE. It doesnt have to be java3D, it can be any library that has good 3d support :) nice video and keep up the good work

Both are fundamentally same. No difference. The reason OpenJDK exist is because Oracle has privatised the Oracle's Java License for Enterprise Use...
