Ya can’t help but smile through this whole video, that is a sexy sexy piece of equipment right there!!!! I’m stoked that the back of my head gets its well earned 5 seconds of fame too, it’s definitely my best angle! Shooting that Raufoss round was absolutely one of the highlights of my trip.
After I figured out what I was doing wrong, after I dumped my first scope and its stupid BDC mount for the Barrett factory rings on a better scope, and after I learned how to shoot a spring piston pellet gun, I got pretty remarkable accuracy out of mine. It took roughly 250 rounds of ammo to learn that the best hold on that gun is NO HOLD AT ALL. Level it out, load the bipod, and pull that trigger straight back, letting only your thumb and forefinger touch the gun. Same as a pellet gun, for the same reason - the reciprocating barrel - whodathunkit? Having learned that for myself, I taught my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson and got them all hitting in one afternoon. All the pellet gun practice transfers over, too. No charge for that tip. Told my wife when I got it that some guys buy Harleys. Seemed to make her feel better about the whole thing. Thank you for the video and your service!
I can't remember the name of the one I used on the range, but loved it. We were lighting up old APC's at 2500 yards easily. I remember that it had a small horseshoe- shaped trigger. It was fun. Our mess sergeant got kicked off the range for undisciplined firing. lol

"750 grains of love"
I would like to see Hickok45 demo one against his gong at 80 yds
Then Jon would zoom out and zoom out and zoom out and surprise we're here in Kentucky!
That would be a retirement video.
Why would you want to destroy the old guy`s setup like that😢

"I am special forces guy, and this is my weapon. I love this weapon."
Thank you for your service and for posting this great vid! Will never forget the first time I fired one of those beasts. Not only are they a blast to shoot, they are a great cure for blocked sinuses too :-)
Amen.
That was an awesome presentation! Great info, and thank you for your service.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Susan, that was a great shot. Thanks for watching, TR
Nope, not going to comment on your" best angle" but please, don't make it that easy for us to get in trouble.

Bill Paxton in the movie Navy SEALs taught me everything a Barrett can do to walls. Haha...just kidding!
The fruit of one man's labor. We need more of you!
Thank you for your service! And thanks for your video. It was great. I enjoyed hearing your stories and explanations of the different rounds.
Glad you enjoyed it!
"It’s beautiful against goats" Fkn rollin... Thanks man.... J.
Thanks for watching, TR
Pouring that blackpowder out is better than cutting coke on a table.
You have never had a coke habit.
Me either but.....
Its's not black powder, it's smokeless powder.
I can't remember the name of the one I used on the range, but loved it. We were lighting up old APC's at 2500 yards easily. I remember that it had a small horseshoe- shaped trigger. It was fun. Our mess sergeant got kicked off the range for undisciplined firing. lol
Definitely one of my top favorite videos on RUclips. Period.
hi TR I want to say thank you for your service to keep everyone safe and free. I am a Canadian that is retired from the army myself. I just want to say thank you. Stay safe and you have great videos.
Thanks for watching. Stay warm up there. TR
@@TacticalRifleman thank you
14:13 - A green beret training is a much better use of tax dollars than subsidies, set-asides, welfare, and do-nothing gov’t jobs...
just sayin
Fake Russian dossiers, Russian collusion investigations, bogus impeachment proceedings, . . . . . the shit adds up.
I personally liked the fed funded shrimp on a treadmill... But thats just me.

They are up around 60 million just btwn Lurchs' investigation and impeachment. I wish we could give them a statement of charges on their way out of government along with a jumpmaster assist.
Any of you guys watch the Dan Bongino Show? Really broke down all of the shit they've pulled & continues to do so. Check him out if you haven't already
How about health, education & the environment? What do it say about a civilization that prioritizes taking of lives to saving lives?
Man, I'd love to get my hands on a M82. Came across one in a pawn shop, but it was a tad out of my price range, had to splurge on a Mk 12 and a Leupold Mk 6 scope instead. Maybe one day.
Tad? How much is it?
"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's rifle." Haha
The personal connection between a soldier and weapon cannot be touched...hard to even write this. Having grown up studying [Time Life Books on WWII] war, building models and now hearing from soldiers tell their story for me [ an avid shooter ) priceless...especially the fact that Carl looks fresh faced and unscathed.
Thank you for your service
Thanks for the support. Strength and Honor, TR
New subscriber here! Absolutely love that you add so much historical context to your videos. Awesome stuff!
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching, TR
As a tax payer I'm ok with you training. Thank you
I served in Iraq with the M107 and when I retired I purchased the M107A1, the weight difference is extremely noticeable and the round suppressor I feel works even better than the old spade the A0’s had. These are phenomenal rifles and if you spend enough time with them, feed them quality ammo, you will be surprised at just how accurate the thing can be
If I have a daughter I'll be cleaning my Barret at the kitchen table every time she brings home a boyfriend
What if you end up bonding over it instead
That's why I'm so glad I have a son, a respectful son
Better yet.....
Take the kid to the range....
Lol
What if she's one of them short haired, dungaree and Birkenstock types, you know the ones I mean?
.
(I don't want to accidentally use the wrong nomenclature, because once they get their rage on, you never hear the fuckin' end of it)
I have a daughter- I have a custom 338 lapua I’ll be cleaning everything a boy comes over.
