I LOVE content like this. I am a new RZ owner, had it about a year and a half now, and I want to learn EVERYTHING I can about it. Thank you for making these!
Very insightful video. Just got my RZ67 Pro ii out of it's box for the first time in over 15 years. When I put it into storage years ago I removed the lens and put the rear lens cap on the lens. Now I can't remove it despite trying every effort under the sun ie. turning clockwise and anti clockwise with rubber gloves for etc grip etc but the darn thing won't shift. Any advice you can give would be much appreciated. Really don't want to take it into an expensive repair shop if I can avoid it.
Seriously man. This is the sort of info and your videos are what the film Community needs. I searched every forum possible and and even read the repair manual but couldn’t even find this process anywhere
Thank you so much. We’re working hard to document important things like this so the community can grow. I hope it helped you out and it keeps others for years to come. We have another RZ video going up really soon.
Hey Bill, it is the left screw, not the right one, right? :) I managed to release the lens and after putting it back on it got stuck again. Any advice?
Wow! RUclips sure hides you good!! I just found you by chance and that is severely good as I am just at the point of flinging out the cash for a RZ67....Needless to say, I'll be all over your pages!!!
I could not get this method to work on my RZ67 Pro. After I changed the cheap Chinese battery, the mirror became unlocked, and the lens came off without a problem. Good video regardless.

Can you tell me how to remove a stuck rear lens cap cover from the lens of an rz67? The lens is not attached to body. Thanks
