The fact is there's no "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" clips is very upsetting. Anything with him and Geoff Peterson (Josh Robert Thompson) is gold, in particular the beginning of Geoff's "I've got a place there" routine.
Awwww come on. No mention at all for anything from Craig Ferguson? :( Cold, guys. Cold… My personal favorite moment is Geoff Peterson making Craig cry from laughter by bringing up his multiple houses in various locations. But there’s also, of course, the cold-open lip-syncs featuring a slew of animal puppets and a short guy wearing BDSM attire 🤣 and also when he did an entire episode featuring only animal puppets… and also when Larry King horribly voiced Geoff Peterson… Christ there’s too many awesome moments ❤️ Ass Möde
Leno kicked things off by asking Grant, “What the hell were you thinking?” The hilariously obvious question was perhaps one of the best and brightest moments in ’90s late-night TV. It secured Leno a much-needed ratings win. And from that moment on, Leno dominated The Late Show with David Letterman.
Honourable mentions: 1. Tiffany Haddish and her Groupon story on Kimmel 2. Kevin Hart & Ice Cube driving lesson on Conan 3. The couch on Graham Norton mocking Hugh Bonneville about wearing lipstick (whole episode is pretty epic)
There was this Johnny Carson skit that parodies the "When EF Hutton talks, people listen" ads that were popular at the time that was set at an open casket funeral and when one of the characters says "my broker is EF Nutton and EF Notton says:" and everyone stops and turns to listen including the corpse (played by Carson) who sits up. 🤣
Yeah, because he is a Dick who is also Unfunny. Ya Totally Right with James Corden at the Same Sentence of "Entertaining" being an Absolute "Oxymoron".
He was strapped to someone else after they calculated the effect of corden impacting the earth at terminal velocity and didn't want to foot the bill from quake damage.
How you could include the Sara Silverman "I'm f*cking Matt Damon" and leave out Jimmy Kimmel's response "I'm f*cking Ben Affleck" is pure journalistic irresponsibility.
What about Stephen Colbert and Bryan Cranston doing Daft Punk's Get Lucky on the Colbert Report in 2013. There are videos on RUclips if you want to watch.
Boston Accent on Seth Meyers., Movie the Movie, Handsome Mens Club, Terrific Ten, Chris Evans as Dennis all on Jimmy Kimmel, Paul Rudd clip of Mac and Me on Conan, Conan teams up with Archer
You left off the 2nd-funniest moment: Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. I’ll let you pick between visiting the Attack of the Clones premiere or his team-up with Jack McBayer at the Weiners Circle in Chicago. Both are comedy gold.
I can understand why people don't get Kaufman but he was a genius. The problem with the performance art that he did was that it didn't always work. He wasn't always funny, and he definitely ticked off people he worked with, but I still appreciate what he brought to the entertainment world. He was unique. And that is worth something. Even if he's only funny half the time, he's outrageous almost all the time. And that's entertaining.
I did not initially. Knew he was highly regarded and so I continued watching and after viewing SNL audition, Elvis impersonation, Late show appearances and Taxi characters (yes plural), I got to understand and appreciate his comedy genius.
I think the older bit with Johnny Carson, imitating Willie Nelson and singing with Julio Iglesias should be on here. Before my time but I saw it and it was pretty funny and magical.
Most of them arent funny, they are ''facebook funny'', the kind of humour mom likes that is posted on facebook with minions meme. But seriously, Paul Rudd with his years long running gag with Conan not on the list, is a tragedy.
Johnny Carson and Jack Webb- The Copper Clapper Caper Johnny Carson as Carnac the Magnificent: “‘Sis Boom Bah’- describe the sound made when a sheep explodes.” Drew Barrymore flashes David Letterman
If there can be only one entry featuring "the feud" then Sarah Silverman singing is great. But I also liked Matt Damon losing it after Jimmy Kimmel's long introduction makes the show run out of time.
Not much into watching Graham Norton but I know where I can find him if I need him. On cable he's on BBC America. We don't get the other guy that used to host the show Fool Us But I can say that I can find clips online but I wouldn't know where it actually airs in the UK.
Honestly, most of these aren't really that funny. Especially the staged ones. Spontaneous comedy is almost always better. Sarah Silverman's song is the exception.
@FlashlightBeamer he is not a troll or a bully. he is not a creep as well. You are a miserable troll and bully. It's sad that you like your own comment
I'm not one of those cynical pricks who always complain in the comment sections, but most of these clips are mediocre, considering it's a list of the funniest moments in talk show history. These couldn't be the funniest moments from over 70 years of multiple weekly shows.

This list should have been 95% Graham Norton show clips... cause they are actually funny
Word
Your mom is actually funny.
Jimmy Fallon and "funny" are 2 mutually exclusive terms. You can replace Jimmy Fallon with Kevin Hart...and James Corden.
Agreed, mostly because the guests are all drinking.

X2
I love Craig Ferguson!! ❤️
Don’t forget dancing with secretariat! ❤
No Salsa?
@@gingervsginger but if I have salsa, spicy
The Norm Mcdonald one on Conan will always be Legendary! R.I.P. Norm.
RIP Norm.
Andy Richter the Swedish German.
I love the Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel feud!
I nominate Andy Serkis reading trumps tweets as Gollum 😂
Courtney Thorne-Smith is such an underappreciated doll!
Just remembering "Fucking Matt Damon" made me laugh...
Someone needs to splice that video with Team America's "Matt Damon" if they haven't already.
Dude. Tom Cruise on Oprah jumping on the couch.
I liked it when Kimmel's wife pranks him, by having Rihanna come over the house really late, and waking Jimmy up with a loud performance. 😂😂
The Emma Stone lip sync was just awesome! I watched it so many times.
It was. I actually prefer Paul Rudd, doing "Better Be Good to Me" and "Don't Stop Me Now"
How about less talking and setting up the clip and just show the clip! And show the entire clip, you cut them off early often!
How can they never fail us. Great watchmojo.
The fight between Burt Reynolds and Marc Summers on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno surely deserved a spot on this list.
Obama hosting the Colbert report would be in my top 10
Hannibal’s side kick to Flavor Fav was pretty hilarious.
Kristen Bell on Ellen when she thought there was a sloth on set 😂
Where is Jimmy Kimel and I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy?
Number 1 should've been "Bill Burr making Conan laugh"
Conan sucks
@@zapcity8992 valuable contribution, well done..
Craig Ferguson interview with Ewan MacGregor about The man who stare at goats or when he cried laughing with the robot...
Awwww come on. No mention at all for anything from Craig Ferguson? :( Cold, guys. Cold…

Tom Holland is actually a wonderful dancer.
“I’m Fucking Matt Damon” will always be my favorite!
Yep, only #6? Has to be at least top 3.
Honourable mentions:
1. Tiffany Haddish and her Groupon story on Kimmel
2. Kevin Hart & Ice Cube driving lesson on Conan
3. The couch on Graham Norton mocking Hugh Bonneville about wearing lipstick (whole episode is pretty epic)
The funniest thing I've ever seen on a talk show was Emma Stone's Spice Girls moment on the Graham Norton Show.
Great list it's no wonder that these shows aren't on anymore
Using the word "entertaining" in the same sentence as James Corden is an oxymoron.
Yeah, because he is a Dick who is also Unfunny.
Ya Totally Right with James Corden at the Same Sentence of "Entertaining" being an Absolute "Oxymoron".
🎉😅🎉 so true
Agreed. They could have used another clip in place of ANYTHING from J. C
He's good on Broadway, just not in late night. Though, his riff-off with Neil Patrick Harris is amazing.
@@henryhercules4920 even if I said James Corden is not entertaining?
You’re a moron. Keep your idiotic thoughts to yourself.
Cant believe cordon jumped out a plane and his parachute worked... what a bastard
He was strapped to someone else after they calculated the effect of corden impacting the earth at terminal velocity and didn't want to foot the bill from quake damage.
You all remember, Mr. Quide was in Movie 43. No wonder the Starbucks skit was done, hilariously
How you could include the Sara Silverman "I'm f*cking Matt Damon" and leave out Jimmy Kimmel's response "I'm f*cking Ben Affleck" is pure journalistic irresponsibility.
I heard Kevin had to wear lifts so he was tall enough for the roller coaster 😂
I read the title as funniest ever, I must have been mistaken apparently
There is no way anything even related to the name Jimmy Fallon is funnier than norm on Conan
Because humor is subjective.
What about Stephen Colbert and Bryan Cranston doing Daft Punk's Get Lucky on the Colbert Report in 2013. There are videos on RUclips if you want to watch.
Andy Kaufman was an absolute genius!..
Boston Accent on Seth Meyers., Movie the Movie, Handsome Mens Club, Terrific Ten, Chris Evans as Dennis all on Jimmy Kimmel, Paul Rudd clip of Mac and Me on Conan, Conan teams up with Archer
I think you missed a few, Watchmojo. 🎉
You left off the 2nd-funniest moment: Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.
I’ll let you pick between visiting the Attack of the Clones premiere or his team-up with Jack McBayer at the Weiners Circle in Chicago. Both are comedy gold.
I never have and never will understand the appeal of Andy Kaufman.

But seriously, Paul Rudd with his years long running gag with Conan not on the list, is a tragedy.
The moment where Craig Ferguson and Steve Carell were eating oysters and peppers should be here
The Dennis bit was hilarious
Johnny Carson and Jack Webb- The Copper Clapper Caper
Johnny Carson as Carnac the Magnificent: “‘Sis Boom Bah’- describe the sound made when a sheep explodes.”
Drew Barrymore flashes David Letterman
You did Norm dirty.
Jimmy Fallon's karaoke with Will Ferrell doing Beyonce was so much funnier.
Fallon had a lot of good stuff. I saw his anniversary show and it was amazing how good it was.
I still think Andy is not dead and just doing a bit, one day he will appear and wonder why everyone thought he was dead.
What about Macy Williams prank in spoiling a scene of Game of Thrones with Jimmy Fallon
Idk nothing Fallon did us as funny as Kaufman
This list was great, but was there a hidden caveat of no Robin Williams? Him with Johnathan Winters on Carson should have been in there at least.
Forgot Sue Johanson on Conan with Wrestler Big Show and actor Tom Selleck on the couch laughing the whole time
I like a moment when Brad Pitt interrupted TheEllenShow.
“Welcome to Frontier Bris!”
You really missed the best one of all....Johnny Carson vs Burt Reynolds shaving cream fight.
I Love David Letterman!
@@leobertoalbano Why do you spam the Watchmojo comments? It's literally 10-15 comments I've seen from you
No mention of Paul Rudd’s ongoing “Mac and Me” prank with Conan?
Norm should be #1-#20
Exactly what I was thinking. Maybe some Bill Burr sprinkled in there 😂😂.
seriously? any Graham Norton show or Johnny Carson show clips are funnier than that
Well, they forgot about Craig Ferguson 😂
Emma stone is cool but norm had the greatest segment of all time
If there can be only one entry featuring "the feud" then Sarah Silverman singing is great. But I also liked Matt Damon losing it after Jimmy Kimmel's long introduction makes the show run out of time.
*Emily (yes, she wants to be called by her real name now) Stone is the Katherine Hepburn of our time.
Period.
You left out the “hangover 3” joke from Obama on Between Two Ferns.
No Robin Williams moments? Another failure of a list by the WatchMojo staff.
Ellen stole that premise from impractical jokers
The fact the Paul Rudd prank/troll is not here. Maybe wrong list?
Did anyone see leno on here? I didnt think so
Not much into watching Graham Norton but I know where I can find him if I need him. On cable he's on BBC America. We don't get the other guy that used to host the show Fool Us But I can say that I can find clips online but I wouldn't know where it actually airs in the UK.
Conan and Letterman best ever!
It Is Jay Leno all the way!
Tom Holland IS relatable and was with that story. But this is titled "Funniest"
Close, but Norm was 1.
I hate the way the video keeps interrupting the commercials.
Is Kimmel and Damon really friends?
Everybody's looking at my tight pants. I've got my tight pant. I've got my tight pants on!!!😍😍💚
Andy Kaufman. Holey moley.
NO Craig Ferguson?? C'mon now
Honestly, most of these aren't really that funny. Especially the staged ones. Spontaneous comedy is almost always better. Sarah Silverman's song is the exception.
James Cordon is not entertainment, he is Humpty Dumpty with a really large ego
I would love to know how if drugs were involved in these instances

Show the show Impractical Jokers got it from Ellen DeGeneres who probably got it from someone else

Hello good morning 🎉🎉🎉

No jordan schlansky?
I'm not one of those cynical pricks who always complain in the comment sections, but most of these clips are mediocre, considering it's a list of the funniest moments in talk show history. These couldn't be the funniest moments from over 70 years of multiple weekly shows.
KEVIN HART WORKS FOR DIDDY.
Watchmojo have never EVER EVER gotten a video or it's context correct.
Conan all the way
These videos would be great without the horrible voice over narration.
There are a lot of better Letterman moments.
#6 Jimmy's revenge song was better
Half of these you don’t even show the funny bits. You just ramble on about it. Awful. Just awful.
Well whaddya know? Another clip compilation with an extremely annoying, unneeded and unwanted voice over. Just play the clips and keep schtum.
As of 14:07 I don't know who that is, and I have not found any of this funny. I could never stand Steve Martin nor David Letterman
