    Hi Chandi!, I’ve just come from watching your latest video (the Lilias Shawl), and going back to this, 6 years back in time is such a blast! It felt like growing WITH you on my crafting journey. I learned how to knit because you, yes, YOU taught me! It was your basic knitting tutorial that I watched over and over again. I can still remember the funny sound effects you made on the side back then, and at the time it was just what I needed, because it made learning the craft less intimidating. Now that I’ve moved on to crochet, your channel (and now website, too) is still my go-to source for the most amazing patterns, and of course, a nice dose of Chandi positivity and calm. Thank you Chandi!!!

    Delightfully informative, Chandi! Thank you so very much for taking the time to make and post this video!! I saw the glowy appearance you described of your yak-silk lace yarn. The colors are absolutely beautiful and is the perfect yarn for making the elegent wraps, which II immediately fell in love with when I saw them during the preview of this video! Thank you again! 😊❤❤❤

    It is so much easier to imagine how a yarn will work when I can see the finished product actually moving - so much better than a still photo. It makes me want to make all my baby clothes out of yak down down - have you ever considered patterns for baby clothes since your wools are so incredibly soft and unique?

    I guess lacy yarn will take much longer time... so it could be wearable (though it has that 90s feel) but will need much commitment to make one. As you said, the products made will be more durable and stronger :) and the craftwork look so delicate!

    These are such beautiful yarn! And Midnight Grove Wrap is sooooooo beautiful! I’ve bought that pattern and been trying to make.. sadly I keep making mistakes, may I suggest maybe you can make a video on how to deal with lace patterns for beginners? Like if you don’t have a lifeline and made a mistake, what and how do we recover the stitches? I’ve been knitting and crocheting for many years but I’ve never done lace before. Would be great if you are able to use the Midnight Grove Wrap pattern as a base pattern for the video.
    Oooh PS, love your videos and the yarns and patterns are all so beautiful!

    I have a question, I have 3 cake multi color I think after your explanation it's 2 ply fingering (lace) weight yarn the only explanation of the yarn that it's 100% acrylic 80 grams = 300 meters. So what can I make from this yarn except shawl? Is it enough for a top . Btw I crochet

    • @ExpressionFiberArts
      @ExpressionFiberArts  3 года назад +1

      If you have three of them or roughly 900 meters, you might be able to find a tank top or short-sleeved top that you could crochet, but it would likely only be enough yardage for the smallest of sizes. You could also make a scarf or other accessory. Here are some of our smaller crochet patterns: www.expressionfiberarts.com/categories/patterns.html?_bc_fsnf=1&Craft=Crochet&sort=newest&Project+Type=Scarves%2FCowls
