Parade held to commemorate Thai king's commemoration

Newly crowned Thai King Maha Vajiralongkorn was carried through the streets on a golden palanquin on Sunday, May 5, 2019 as the country celebrated his coronation with a parade.
He also was scheduled to stop at temples to pay homage to the main Buddha images at each.
Vajiralongkorn was crowned on Saturday in an elaborate ceremony.
