    Everyone should be feeling for the year Aliyah Boston had. She lost to CC last year, she loves her SC sisters, she was in front of a mic all year having to discuss this hype, and she knew she was going to get CC on her team. I can't wait to watch her put down the microphone, suit up with CC, and show out. Boston and CC and crew are going to bond and shut up a lot of WNBA stars.

    Going down the path of history there are many similarities between Clark and Iowa to Larry Bird and Indiana State
    Both were overhyped by some and underrated by others due to their skin colour (Isiah Thomas said if Bird was black he would just be another guy)
    Both were turned away by powerhouse programs - Bird left Indiana and Clark never got an offer from UConn.
    In their title matches then both played clearly more talented teams
    They both lost by 12.
    They both had chances for their teams to win (both Iowa and Indiana State had runs to get within 5 points) even though individually then did not have stellar performances.
    Clark is going to Indiana Bird came from Indiana.

    ESPN needs to stop defending Taurasi and providing a platform to broadcast her trash. When she's on the court with Caitlin she can speak all the trash she wants. But off court, particularly at this point in the history of the WNBA, she should be lifting the league up and that includes everyone associated with it. This kind of belittling of Caitlin Clark is the antithesis of what Clark has achieved for the league and the trajectory she's providing. 20 million viewers will not tune in for Taurasi and she knows it. The league needs ambassadors...not trash talking twerps. If Taurasi, and the people defending her, had any real class and character, they would know this.

    clark will enter the WNBA as the best player in the league. this is not the transition from college to the NBA. look at the stats other great WNBA players put up in college, and it’s mostly the same in the league, except for players like Ionescu and Plum. Caitlin Clark can and will take and regularly make shots that no other woman can, and that even most men in games are unwilling to attempt. I would be surprised if she isn’t a top 5 scorer and top 3 in assists. i could reasonably expect 22 and 7 (though she averaged 8 assists with some pretty weak talent). i could honestly foresee 25 and 10 assists with 5 or 6 rebounds and a league mvp in year one. people are underestimating how good this girl is. the only person who will be competitive with her as the potential GOAT of women’s basketball in 5 years will be an arriving Juju watkins. that’s it. nobody else comes anywhere close.
    she won’t have to take so many impossible shots, bc she will not be the entire offense. she will have more open looks, more space, and in the passing game will have real bugs to pass to.

      also, after playing 40 minutes a night every game for the last month, do you really believe she’s not good bc one defensive player got the best of her in one game?

      @timm439 2 месяца назад

    Heres the priblem
    Raven Johnson exposed all Caitlin Clark flaws but no white folks or media said nothing about that. Why didn't you guys tell Caitlin to stay and develop her defensive game. Caitlin so limited defensively but nobody is talking about it
    Reese is more of an all round player with VERY LITTLE AREA that needs development like Caitlin who HAS NO CLUE ON HOW TO PLAY DEFENSE.
    I hate folks who are hypocritical when analyzing a BLACK player's skill sets as against .white players
    Cameron Brink has just one skill she's good at which is SHOT BLOCKS. but everyone is blind to a whole lot of other areas which she has ZERO SKILL in especially in offense. No one is expecting her shoot 3s like you all want Reese despite not being a PG(shooting Guard) like Caitlin.
    Kamila Cardoso is ONLY good in one area which is Rim protection but has ZERO skill OFFENSIVELY. Only shoot ONE 3 pointer all her college career . But she is ranked 3 and nobody expects her to have jump shots like you all want Reese to be shooting
    Paige Buekers has ZERO skill defensively but such flaws are being overlooked by everyone.
    Jacy Sheldon has just one skill which she is good at but everyone overlooked all her flaws in other areas and she is ranked 6 in the draft above Reese
    I can go on and on
    Every player on the WNBA mock draft TOP 5 has ONLY one skill set or area where they are good and a WHOLE LOT OF OTHER AREAS where they have deficiency or has ZERO skill in. Why nobody is tellinf them to stay one more year in college to develop those aspect of their games to be that PERFECT TYPE OF PLAYER you all want Reese to be?
    So, why do you all want Angel Reese to CHECK ALL THE BOXES while those other white players are evaluated on ONE SKILL SET they possess and their NUMEROUS FLAWS overlooked?
    Have you seen the HYPOCRISY in all of this????

    I’m actually going to watch the WNBA to see what happens. Boston and Clark will be filthy. I can’t wait to see Clark surrounded by top talent. Not taking away from her teammates at Iowa but she was way short handed. Boston will be MVP and Clark will be ROTY.

    I'm so glad that she's out of college! She's so full of herself. If you watch the video of her returning home today in Iowa she was wearing a hoodie over her head and didn't even speak to any of the fans! That's ridiculous. Well that's all she wants to talk about is show me the love show me the love at the ball games which is what they did everywhere they traveled! Shame on you Caitlin Clark!

      She's manufactured. Not an all around player. I am glad certain ppl are seeing this blatant superiority agenda for what it is. Just like Taylor Swift. It's a newer form of ancient times. We will zealously advocate our own as "greatness" so ppl think we are superior.
      The way the media is covering her and she lost BOTH championships is evidence of that.
      What a farce.

    Cathy Engelbert, WNBA commissioner, knows where her bread is buttered and so do Caitlin's new WNBA coaches and teammates. They will provide all the help CC needs to transition and guide her team in the WNBA. From a marketing perspective it is in all of their best interest to help her success as, like it or not, CC is the main talk of basketball in the last 2 years and she'll put money in everyone's pockets. She also will be surrounded by an elite group of teammates for the first time.

  • @kylebushnell2601
    @kylebushnell2601 2 месяца назад

    I mean, it’s the WNBA and she can shoot a cap off of a lid. She’ll be fine. She does need to learn to move much better when she doesn’t have the ball. She can come off screens really nice, but she does not maneuver around the court. Well when she doesn’t have the ball. As a matter of fact, it’s extremely disjointed at times, virtually pushing other teammates out of the way to get in the line of the ball.
