Happy New Year Chase! So close to 100K - that'll be cool to see. Wifey got me a PD 10L sling v2 for Christmas - trying to see if I can do a work bag that tightly. Had it in the kitchen today before school and the 6 yr old goes "Is that for your business papers?"
The only problem I have with vegan leather is it does not seem to last as long as a good leather. If you are trying to make a cheaper product or if the person buying it doesn't care that it won't last forever then go ahead. But my grandfathers ww2 bomber jacket is still going and good leather is why.
LOL Me gusta! Well, me gusta your video! Thank you so much for the detailed review. The video on the company’s site is horrible and didn’t sell me but no, this brand is definitely a contender. Thanks again!
I got their Adventure Tote and it's garbage. The quality and construction is so poor for the price tag! I reviewed it on my channel. I wouldn't recommend Troubador. Their are better bags out there at much lower price points - Dagne Dover and Peak Design to name a couple.
NEED SOME HELP, planning on taking 2 major trips later this year (COVID allowing) and so I need a backpack about 35-45L under $250 ideally, the first trip is backpacking western Europe for little over a month and the second is a 2-3 week hiking trip through the Appalachian Trail. I dont want to buy 2 backpacks so I want a bag that I can use through Europe (and other future urban trips) and is semi fashionable so I dont seem like a complete tourist but also not overly techy as I want it to be good my hiking trip (or any hiking trip for that matter). Other things I would like if possible is sternum/hip belt, strong water resistance, and lockable zippers, and it looking semi fashionable so it doesnt look like a mountain backpack while im going through Paris or a overly techy bag through the woods/mountains. someone please help, personally if I could id make my own bag but probably cant
At that price point I would just buy a leather backpack. Sure vegan/environmentally friendly might be preferred, but for 300+ for a backpack I want to be sure it will last and age well. Bellroy makes a great vegan recycled backpack for less than $200, and I don't think these are worth that much more in terms of quality/longevity.
Business. Papers. Every single time it gets me. Love it.
Seems liked each video the dramatic pauses get longer and longer. Pretty soon the whole video will be Chase just guessing what the pockets are for.
Troubadours stuff reminds me of Bellroy. Especially the Adventure bag, it has the vibe of the Bellroy classic.
Same!
$400? No damn way..some of these bag companies are out of control
Broke boy xD
Wish there were strap keepers and yes, interior mesh pocket doesn’t need aqua guard zips but other than that, solid bags.
Business backpack for............

Nice review Chase!
Ask them to send you one (or more) of their briefcases next time, I would like to see the review of those (non-leather ones preferably 😉)
Do you know if and when you will test the new bellroy Melbourne backpack ?
Business papers man.
Rhymes with Isthmus Vapors
