I love to hear the "cracking" of the gatefold when you open it! Ahhh, music to my ears!

Hi Michael. I just received the Sam Rivers - Contours album yesterday and had a chance to listen to it this evening. Again the album is superb! Nice flat vinyl, quiet between songs and the music is outstanding. I love this series so far. I have three titles so far and will definitely be picking up some more! Thanks again for your recommendation. I might also try picking up some of the 80’s series as the titles are amazing as well.

Michael just bought Face to Face. Terrific album! You can really here the antecedents or influence of rock and roll n some of these numbers.

I deeply agree on the Chet Baker Sings being the best release so far in this series (for me). I had owned several other earlier pressings of that title and was always let down with the quality. Tone Poet nailed it, finally. Of the other title you have and shown here - which is your 2nd favorite? Looking forward with their schedule for the remainder of the year, I'm most excited for the Paul Chambers 'Bass on Top', which I believe is the final TP release slated for 2020.

I can get Tone Poet's in my local shop for around $32CAD or $25USD. If Americans were able to come here, they could get it so cheap just based on the exchange rate.

Wonderful video. I really enjoy hearing your insights into the Tone Poet series. Do you know what's going on with the availability of the records? It seems that many titles have sold out. I ordered 4 Tone Poet records from the Blue Note website back on May 4. To date I haven't received any of them. After many emails with their customer service team and selecting many alternate titles due to availability they have finally shipped one record.

This maybe because of the corona crisis. The pressing plants are still far behind
