I get that it's fun and enjoyable to engage with characters in works of fiction and root for them to end up with the person you think has the best chemistry, but anyone who is legitimately invested in "ships" needs to take a step back and remember that they're wasting their time and energy on not only someone else's relationship, but a relationship between two people who don't exist and who are being written by a writer just to get attention and money out of consumers.
