This dude was an asshole in the show. I was rage infested (SPOILER BELOW) When he messed with Lucas and Max and broke her Walkman AS she was in Vecna’s realm, making Jason the reason Max “died” and the reason the gates opened. Not to mention he was also very intent on killing Eddie and the others simply because they were part of a “demonic cult”, holding some of the main characters at gunpoint, and overall just being one big unlovable character. I mean his girlfriend dying is no excuse for how terrible this dude became.
He also had a motive to do it, not excusing the actions, but it’s understandable

Ill tell u why proshipping is wrong. Because if you ship two characters you like the pairing which is supporting it. So you can’t support fictional minor x adult and claim to be anti CSA.

I get that it's fun and enjoyable to engage with characters in works of fiction and root for them to end up with the person you think has the best chemistry, but anyone who is legitimately invested in "ships" needs to take a step back and remember that they're wasting their time and energy on not only someone else's relationship, but a relationship between two people who don't exist and who are being written by a writer just to get attention and money out of consumers.
