My wife's family used to come up here from IL when she was growing up. We've been there together once but did not tour anything. We'll plan to get there. Are there other properties that offer tours? Thank you. Really appreciate you two enjoying your time together and sharing with us.
Thank you so much for watching! I do not know of another mansion you can tour - but we have taken a trolley tour from the Grand Geneva. It drove us around the Grand Geneva and the town pointing out some of the historic homes. This is the link www.grandgeneva.com/ - if you want to see if they offer anything like that. If you get a chance go during the national snow sculpting competition - very neat event usually around February.
As a kid my dad's friend owned the fairview mansion. Visited once and stayed in the coach house which was multiple floors, had a servant's quarters, etc. 😮
Love 💗
Thanks so much for watching.

You may take the lake tour and the boat cruise explains the mansion history along the lake.
Sad some of them were torn down just to be replaced with something less grand and with zero history
@76TomD it is a very unique place to visit. Still so much history.
