Still don't understand the hype around Biado. He's a good player, no doubt but does he deserve the attention we give him ? I'm not convinced. Even among the Philipinos, he's not that strong : Chua, Gomez, Garcia, Aranas or Raga are very competitive too and Chezka Centeno, the young Manas ou even De Luna give me more chill ! He plays well but nothing crazy either, he has no special charisma, no genius tricks in his pocket, no special break to die for, no undoubtable leadership. I don't get it.
As soon as you call him a good player, that's when I knew you're a casual. There's a big difference between a good/great player and a world-class player, and Biado falls on a world-class player. A lot of people don't put him in the top 5, but certainly he is. Biado can beat anyone in the world. He's one of the most accomplished players this 2024. No genius trick in his pocket? Biado, as Karl and Jeremy Jones said, is arguably the best kicker and kick-safety player in the world lol. Talk about leadership, Biado has won 3 team events and was the MVP in all 3 of them lmaoo
