Thanks for this receipe. I clubbed a couple of pointers of malvani fish curry like tamarind paste and malvani masala, 2tbsp coconut powder and jeera coriander seed powder. Turned out well. Did it without a single drop of oil but still turned out very yummy !

I made changes to the recipe as it had a very strong taste of mustard eventhough I put 1tsp of mustard seed (less than what the recipe asked for), I had to then make cahnges by adding cauliflower, peeled tomatoe, curry leaves and coconut milk. This was my first time making fish curry I was very disappointed. Thank you.

Well I hate to break your bubble, but many people ONLY like fish curry with a strong taste of mustard (bihar, bengal, jharkhand, assam). You should know how diverse India is and that not everyone has the same tastes. If you don't like mustard, don't add it. Simple as that.
