    Great rock set up in your yard! Motor looks to have performed well, slow crawling and speed bursts!

    That drag brake was butter.. nice crawl sir

      It’s an impressive motor for sure, I just wish it had the normal 1/8 motor shaft to use normal crawler pinions.

      @@ExocagedRC I dig it..... If enough guys ask I'm sure they'd oblige.

      I asked before I ever got one. Asked multiple times but he stayed with the 5mm. He did say recently that he was going to do rotors in 1/8 shaft for the Acis motors so I asked for a Kratos 1/8 shaft rotor as soon as he can get one, I’m tempted to lathe it down myself. It would be even better with a 9t on it without the adaptor and special pinion

    Wicked performing motor and servo, still waiting for a company to make that sensor wire that clips and locks into place! But the sensor on the top is a nice touch, might try this combo out!

    Nice review.
    I've only been following Tom's 3Brothers RC for a few months. I like the stuff coming from them.
    They are working on a unsensored version of that motor that I'm more interested in.
    I'm a carburetor guy....so the less complicated the better , that's just one of the reasons I like the Revolver. Love the idea of more poles and magnets(Like the Kratos too). Everything being equal....the more polarities the smoother and torquier(spelt right?) the motor is without the sensor-wire.
    I'll definitely get one...just not sure I have the patience to wait for the unsensored version. Hahaha

      I tested their unsensored motor in the blue truck, 2500kv and it’s very impressive, got a little cog down way way low but it’s not hard or very jumpy. It just lets you know it’s unsensored but it’s good enough I’d run it in a comp if that says anything.

      Exocaged RC I haven't got any word that the unsensored version is out. Did Tom send it to you or did I just miss the revealing?
      I'd think the unsensored Kratos wouldn't have any cogging at all...because it's hard to get the TenShock 6-pole 906 to cog and the Kratos has way more polarities.
      I like the 2500kv....its happy medium on the kv.

      @ExocagedRC  6 лет назад +1

      He sent one to me for some testing and I let others drive with it in my blue truck and it did well. It’s not released yet but it will be nice so be ready for it. I’ve tested the TenShock motors with good results but this one is better.

      Exocaged RC so you saying the sensorless version is better than Tenshock? I'm thinking price wise you'd be better off sensored. unless theres a drastic price reduction on the sensoreless which i dont see but hopefully im wrong

    How would you compared it to the castle state 3800kv? I burned my slate out after back to back to back 6s packs abusing the crap out of it and tried a HH 2200KV PULLER PRO with a 15t pinion in my trx. Cooked that turd in 1 6s pack... Might just dump another 3800kv slate in my truck and call it good

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  6 лет назад +1

      My question is why would you want 6s in a scaler? I've run 4S on occasion but 3s every time out. If you must run 6s go for a lower KV motor like the Kratos 1900kv version, the guys who build these motors run the 1900kv on 4s all the time with great results. Some of us youtuber guys do crazy things for videos but would not run like that normally, well sometimes I do LOL but its rare. On the comparison you asked about, this motor has more low end torque and is smoother than the castle, I have a couple slate 3800kv motors.

      Exocaged RC I like to put on a show :D in Arizona we do "azrc fest" twice a year! While doing this last one I decided to put the trx-4 in the ring with a arrma senton 6s in a tug of war. Geuss who won! ;) And I figured while I'm abusing it I may as well do some dragracing hahaha!
      I got about 12-15 packs of 6s thrugh the slate, my puller pro only lasted 1 pack though.....
      There's video of my poor Trx getting the snot beat out of it all over my local Facebook page ( 602RC )
      Thanks for your input! I really value your opinions!

    you make me decide to choose a kratos motor and a G13 servo. I pre oredered the 2750 kV sensor motor.

    I have the mamba x with the homes hobbies 3500kv puller pro do you think the 6 pole is a better motor and faster it’s in a trx 4 bronco

    ok man, I've seen you test alot of high end motors so whats your pick? Disregard bang for your buck and all that. Whats the best in your opinion?

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  6 лет назад

      I have two picks and one of them isn't available yet, the Mamba X esc and this Kratos is stronger and smoother in my opinion than the Tekin ROC412 is. The only thing that may be off issue is runtime, the Kratos seems to be power hungry, I haven't comped it yet so I can't really say. The other choice is the Hobbywing AXE but ONLY when they come out with the new firmware and a 3300kv motor. Hope that helps.

    Is the 5mm shaft a problem? Won’t be going lower than 12t anyways. Going in a VP pro

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  4 года назад

      Mike Tye if you want to go lower than 11t yes it’s a problem. But 12t will work out fine. This is a great motor.

      Exocaged RC awesome! I’ll prob be getting the 2750kv so will be going least over a 12 for sure. Awesome thanks man! Iv seen multiple videos the motors look amazing!

    • @ExocagedRC

      yes its not cheap, its for the higher end builders and those who demand top shelf performance from their electronics

    You spun that shaft so soft like..

    • @ExocagedRC
      @ExocagedRC  5 лет назад +1

      Yeah but as it’s been told to me by John Holmes that a soft indent force ( what you saw ) is best for smooth startups. The really torquey motors require more power to start rotor rotation and usually end up not as smooth way down low. I can tell you this motor is very very nice.
