I only tried their chicken sandwiches and they were so small I never returned. But I’m VERY interested in that adobo rice 😋 but $4 bucks, I think I can make my own lol Thanks for the review Yoshi’s.

I love this place. I always went to the location in National City. They usually are located next to Seafood City. Hope to move back to SD next year! will definitely be going again!

I love Jollibee! I get the spicy chicken 🔥🔥 (way better than non spicy) spaghetti and peach mango pie! So freaking good! The chicken skin with white rice inside (which I make at home) dipped in gravy is 🔥! Also the ube pie was for a limited time. That was also 🔥! Peach mango pie has a very crispy crust and I prefer it over a McDs apple pie any day! Love the review! Thanks for sharing fam! ❤

We’ve had one for a few years here and I’ve yet to try it. Being part Filipino you think I would have tried them by now. You’re probably the only ones I know that have tried their food so I’ll definitely give them a try, especially the rice. Not sure about the spaghetti though. Thanks for sharing ❤

Nice! Adobo is made with soy sauce and vinegar. There shouldn't be any beans in the rice. It might be chicken or pork. I'm not into the sweet spaghetti. In the Philippines, there's a Jolibee on every other block lol. Im not sure if they give out hot sauce. I usually get the spicy chicken and eat it with gravy and rice. I'll make some adobo for you guys sometime.

Adobo rice doesn’t have vinegar, as a main ingredient. Its brown color comes from the adobo gravy from the adobo dish, prob their own concoction (Adobo traditionally is cooked with soy sauce and vinegar to prolong shelf life). Jabee (jolibee, just my moniker on them) caters to the filipino palate, so it comes in neutral, not polarizing. The spaghetti isn’t really sweet, but the way it’s made in the country is with banana ketchup, that gives a slightly sweet flavor. Things you heard about spaghetti with condensed milk are true, but for jabee’s take, they don’t do that, for it’s just banana ketchup and spices for flavor.

I love Filipino (Pinoy) food. Adobo is a type of stew made with chicken or pork with an equal amounts of vinegar and soy sauce, but so hard to get the ratios correct. It also has bay leaf and peppercorn. The spaghetti is made with a certain type of hotdog and not ground beef. I've never eaten the food from Jollibee even though I have one down the street from me. My sons have gotten the chicken sandwiches and they like them. Pancit, menudo, afritada, and more. You'll need to find some turon and try them, so yummy!
