@@Anelta_Rant technically Klaus didn't activate his werewolf gene until he broke the crescent moon curse that kept his werewolf side dormant.. Vampires can't reproduce but werewolves can and Hayley was the first girl and crescent werewolf girl he lay with after he broke the curse. So in a way they are soulmates.

Well it was more like banter between the 2 at this point. They were on good terms when she died. To him she was family. But when she picked the wolves and tired to keep his daughter from him. He did lose it. He did everything for that little girl. It was a lovely arc to see him redeemed. But I hated his ending. It wasn’t him to just give up like that. He was a fighter, tooth and nail. And he just gave up and accepted his death was the only way to keep his littlest wolf safe.
I love that if she didn’t answered about the fact that he wasn’t her husband that she could bossed around it would have implied that she feels like her wife. And there is a tension between them, chemistry
The love klaus and Hayley had for each other was so genuine and beautiful. Love like that is very hard to come by without any expectation and self interest. They were true mates.
