- STORM!!!
Spotting video @ Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (TJSJ/SJU)! Spotting in 7/31/20, this day features the operations going on at SJU while Tropical Storm Isaias was hitting us. You can see a little bit of everything: landings during heavy rain, landings during little to no rain, crosswind landings, go-arounds, etc. The pilots' skills were certainly tested this day. Hope you like it! & don't forget to comment, rate & subscribe!

Big thumbs up to that old 727!!!! Hell yeah! Sweet landing too.
Thank you for standing out there & making this video possible! Love the rain!
Tremendous pilots, that's what I call being a professional aviation pilot because it's not easy to land the plane in bad weather. Amazing video thank you for sharing 👍💯
Excellent shots,thanks for sharing.
Many thanks! ✈️
Those MD-11's always have that bounce on landing.
Fed ex know allot about that💀
👍🏻👍🏻no talk, no music
All Jets. ✅
Nothing else needed if you love roaring engines and SJU!

This has a lot of my favs in it - trijets + rain. Those MD-11 & B727 absolutely did it for me; everything else is good too.
Those 2 JetBlue passing each other was nice; love the A321Neo!
Great video
Wow, the climb rate on the MD-11 at 15:03
Yes, if FEDEX pilots got the same rule as UPS pilots, they have to do that takeoff once a month.
Vx climb out!
Hello friend nice video thank you for your hard work ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️🛩
Thank you very much! ✌

Omg im so afraid of airplane! This is make feel safe. Respect for the pilots👏👏
Scary but amazing!
My friend from high school used to be scared of planes. Now he flies for FEDEX lol 😂
There's always an extra condiment whenever a tropical cyclone is nearby! Btw, what a privilege to have B727 operations still in SJU into the 2020s!
Sure is! Those 727s have been making quite a comeback to SJU recently. Will upload more shots of the 727s soon. Thanks for watching!
Dude, those B727s are older than “Methuselah (Matusalem).” I had the privilege and chance to be on board in a few of those in the 80’s flying “Eastern, Pan Am, TWA and once with AA.” They’re loud as f*** with those “Pratt and Whitney” engines.
@@BlueRockerPR Love the 72's....what a global workhorse back in the day.

Good Job thanks for sharing this

Very spectacular videos wow!!
these pilots brave yes to be flying in that weather....because I love planes I don't mind....
DC-10 is still my favorite jumbo. As a kid in the early 70’s, I lived near Boeing field (Seattle) not Everett. The sound they made on final approach was so thrilling. It’s what made me become a pilot. 👍🏼
Really nice Footage. Hope Isaias did little damage. Take care
Did u mean didn’t
@@yandelcrespo4710 correct
Do you mean did? Because that sentence doesn’t make sense

Thank you very much for watching! Sure wasn't easy fighting the winds and rain 😂
Good video that jet make the go around
Great Job Sir! Lots of crosswinds and bird activity!
Check at 12:39 and at 20:57... both planes were “crabbing” to their right. Other clues are the cloud movements.
Wow very good video
Thank you! ✈️
Super Video
Thank you! ✈️
3:29 that jet blue A320 had a bird strike on the left leading edge of the wing
Didn't noticed until I saw the comments. Good eye!

WEPA! BlueRocker I want to congratulate you for so awesome video of TJSJ operations during the Storm. Gracias Hermano! WEPA! SHALOM!
Thank you very much for watching! Saludos! ✌
You have to give these pilots lots of credit landing in severe weather conditions with dangerous crosswinds...Job well done...
Lot of MD-10/11 action, and a 727!!
Nice vid i saw some old planes I grew up watching at LaGuardia airport when I was a teen. Thanks 👍. Pilots gotta have guts to fly on stormy weather and passengers are gonna feel it.
Se puede escuchar los aplausos en cada aterrizaje.
You can hear the applause from the cabin on every landing.
Nítido!! Me gusta ese spot aereoparque! Con la tormenta me preguntaba como estarían los aviones. Gracias!
Such brilliant shots! That MD-11 landing does things to me😮💨😎🙌🏽
At 3:28 You can see a bird hitting the nose of the A320. Great video by the way

Incredible video, loved the 727 and MD11! Well done!!
remember when the delta 737 took off during category 5 hurricane irma? this is nothing
I remember that! Was AWESOME!!!
What where the video love to see that geez
@@CockpitScenes right . imagine all flights would be grounded. No pilot in there right mind or even passanger would risk there life and getvon a ✈ geez
It actually happened and I also remember that flights coming in for landing during hurricane Gustav in the Virgin Islands. I lived in an apt. parallel the runway of the Cyril E. King airport up on the hillside. I was amazed and thought they were crazy but they did it.
Cockpit Scenes it happened they were the only pilots to fly out of the hurricane because they found a little strip of the hurricane they were able to go through
Nice wet action!
Awesome! Great shot pal 👍🏻
I liked when the plane took off very fast
Very nice Video, sweet especially the Jet Blue Jets, my favorite Airline......
So nice to see crows flying around the runway at 18:55 lol.
Tremendo video...un abrazo desde Bronx NY...🇵🇷👍
2:55 FedEx MD-11F
Q bella es mi isla Bienvenido a todos los q la visitan se gosaran
Nice... the JetBlue at 3:25 has a few bird strikes...
12:49 Amerijet 767
Pretty busy considering weather conditions and the fact we are still living with a PANDEMIC here people!
727's are still flying?? 😳
Great video brother absolutely amazing bid like 💪💪
Thank you very much for watching!! ✈️✈️
Excelente video, me suscribí al canal de inmediato.
Was that a 727 at 2:18. Wow
God damn the graphics on this new flight simulator 2020 are ridiculous
Oh snap. Bird strike 3:25 left wing.
Good eye! I didn't even noticed it until now!
I cannot believe how loud and noisy those old planes are and how much smoke they emit. Polluters of the sky.
Oh those 727's and DC9's were real smokers.
0:15 UPS MD-11F
6:35 god damn that A320 wasted almost no time getting out of there🤣🤣
And at 8:17
1:48 JetBlue
I was flying the jetblue at 8:19
There was two explosions on the Jet blue (min. 8:49 to 8:54) where you can see that fire flames comes out of the rear exhaust of the plane. Is this normal or usual while take off?
Have a few landings at this airport 😎
Love jet blue I take it to Jamaica and back to Florida
Where do you plane spot from I really just want to go over there and watch them takeoff and land.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Don't know why UPS or FedX fly those planes. They're ancient and a bit dangerous, and that's when the motors are not falling off them
Because they're not unsafe - those issues were figured out on the DC-10, and those are MD-11s - and they're comparatively simple mechanically and cheap to maintain.
Passenger airlines only care about flight profit/efficiency, but cargo planes spend most of their time on the ground being loaded/unloaded, so fuel efficiency really doesn't impact operational costs much.
Older, well-understood, simpler planes fit the bill. They're the 90s white ford transits of the sky.
Of course they still have newer stuff - there aren't enough old workhorses to go around and they don't make them anymore - but the ones that exist will be flown until there's no viable airframes left.
19:09 Delta 737
At 10:46 was that a go round?
I don't know how you managed to make the video, during that storm. I hope you were okay.
It was quite an adventure getting to the airport... Thanks for watching!
Scary
You won't see a better landing on a MD-11 both UPS & FEDEX. I miss the B-727. I have 18+ years flying it.
Thought that Jet Blue was going to hydroplane...
How often are you at SJU? I'd love to purchase a photo or video of myself landing there one day. I fly for JetBlue, so I'm there often enough.
0:27 Birds saying...Oh shit here comes the blender, while scrambling to get out of the way!
Man, the car tires driving on the wet road behind you were super loud and obnoxious.
Goo
where do you go to spot the planes on the second runway?
