I really wish you would use Arabic script! If nothing else, add the phrases you are teaching in Arabic script below the video.

Thank you for nice vid. Btw, Charpayah is Farsi /Persian word which literally means four-legs is used like ladder for climbing up and replaceing broken lamp. Takht is used for bed instead in Farsi.

Actually 'چارپایه' is a Persian word. It means 'stoll' in Persian. So funny to know that it has turned it 'bed' In Iraqi. The persian word for bed is تخت

So in Iraqi dialect people tend to over-roll the r sound? or is it just your personal style or you're exaggering it a bit for learners? i think people normally pronounce "areed" like "areed" not "arrrrrrrrreeeeed"

    • @ramitheiraqi2257

Hey Rami. Youre doing a great job with these lessons. Ive watched a couple of videos out of curiosity coz im an Iraqi myself. The only thing you need to work on is your spelling with the Latin alphabet, coz its quite confusing at times. I would write my bag as “Junu6ti” for example, and dhayye3it instead of thaya3et. Try to add accents or dots on letters that dont exist in english to distinguish them from already existing ones (look up IPA symbols). Your pronunciation is spot on but the spelling needs a bit of work. Keep the vids coming 👍
