Thanks! Agreed, it is a good line to railfan if you like those gaps to relax between trains. It was more relaxing than other stations when you have a train every few minutes lol
Thank! It was sure cool to see 6012 with the K5LLA and 6016 and 6083 and 4119! You would be correct, unfortunately 4119 and 4120 have been removed from passenger service and are now in MOW service. They have been spotted working the tie Train a few time lately. I have heard at this time there are no plans to bring 4119 and 4120 back into passenger service. Glad I got to see 4119 one last time
Great stuff Zach! That’s a lot of trains running through there. I wish SEPTA would run more trains down my way. I’m saying this as a commuter and not a railfan. Two hour headways on weekend trains is a bit frustrating.
Thank you! There are about 2-5 trains in an hour at this location. Usually 1-3 each hour during mid-day hours and 4-6 during the rush hour. On this particular day, I was there from 8 AM till 4:50 P.M. many other of thr NJT lines have much more service however since unlike this line which doesn't have as much service due to the single track. And I agree two-hour headways can be very frustrating especially if you miss your train. With NJT there is usually a train in each direction every hour on weekends
Currently the PJL has several ALP-45As out there including a few geeps and PLs. For this weekend, 4214 and 4525 are to mostly operate on the PVL along with some others. What I wish to know of are some other engines (their numbers that is). Apparently unsure of what is using 6032 and 6055. But I do know that 4538 is on the PVL with 6016 and then there is a set with 6782, 6207 and 6209 and don’t know the engine and cab car. Also 4101 will be on the 660 rotations and 4109 on the Hoboken division rotations for those wondering :)
@The Political Railfan 4101 is with with 6034 currently. Not sure of the other current assignments. But if I notice anything on departure vision and waldwick cam that may be on the Pascack I will let you know
There is a live railcam that is located at Waldwick on the Main Line/ Bergan County Line/ Port Jervis Line. It's hosted by Railstream, but you have to pay for it
@@ZachTheRailfannerYT I've heard 6012 back in early November in Ridgewood for the first time hearing K5LLA's on that cabcar specifically. I'm not saying I haven't heard K5LLA before like in person, I've heard it multiple times on CSX or NS
Perfect capture 😀 very nice video😀 Greetings from Japan
Thank you!
Nice! It is relaxing to see a line with less trains just to relax outside and to get away with the every 5 minute trains.

Good stuff. Glad you got all of the cool things in this vid. Unfortunately, per reports, I fear that 4119 and 4120 are back in MOW service.

Great video man! I notice 4204s horn sounds less restricted, it sounds good though.
Thank you! I have noticed that as well! I think it's either been more unrestricted or possibly unrestricted and quilled.
i was told earlier today that 4204’s original K5LA broke so it was replaced with a tagless K5LA
@@rebooted.jupiter_ interesting! Thanks for the info!
@@ZachTheRailfannerYT np :)
Whats currently on the PVL engine wise?

I know 4011 has the 6712 set and 4547 has the 6028 set.
@Andrew's NJT trains thanks for the info as always andrew!

I've Heard #6012 Awesome K5LLA At Ramsey Main St Alot
Do you know any livestream of trains near MBPJ train breakdown just now in Clifton NJ

The monorail was the Disney monorail
Yes it was!
Great video. Like me😃
Thanks!
Noticed how 6083's unrestricted K5LA's 2 bells are backwards
Yep! Nice job on spotting it! I was wondering if anybody would point it out. 6074 has 3 bells backward on its Restricted K5LA as well.
@@ZachTheRailfannerYT I've seen 6074 before on the corridor but I don't remember if I ever heard it blow before or not.
