Hello to whoever is reading this. My name is Zach, and I am a Train Enthusiast/ Railfan from NYC. Most videos posted here will be trains within the tri state area like MTA, NJT, Amtrak and freight. Every so often, you may see videos from outside the tri state when I travel. For example: Septa, Sunrail, and other Amtrak lines that are outside outside the tri state area (etc). I’ve always hoped Florida would have trains like this. We voted a railroad from Tampa to Orlando to Miami and back to Tampa but our then governor Scott vetoed it. Dumbass 😢
Never seen this color of Amtrac train. before, most of them are red, white, and blue.
They have K5LAB’s? Interesting! I thought it was another Nathan horn, I can’t remember the exact model name but it did have the number 66 in it.
What crossing is this?

Funny they painted the sunrail loco roofs black since they always had the Mohawk of soot. Now if they only ran on weekends!
if you can catch car 7835 or 7836 in the lead itll have the unrestricted horn

VRE horns are so interesting
@MiddleboroLakevilleRailfan indeed. That's definitely one way to word it 😅. Interesting enough, though, the gallery cab cars on VRE are the only ones currently equipped with 5 chime horns (C5A-CWP). The Metra gallery cab cars currently use a 3 chime horn (K3LA I believe) and the Caltrain ones used P2 horns.

@electrictractiontrainsandt3063 Thank you! the tiger stripes on the front of the cab cars sure does make them look cool! It reminds me of the black & yellow stripes on the amtrak Metroliner Cab cars and the red and white stripes on the Caltrain & Metra Gallery Cab Cars
@@ZachTheRailfannerYT You’re welcome! It sure does remind us of those other cab cars! We need one of the NJT PL42’s with the orange and black tiger stripes on the plow to lead the train!
Nice catches, looks like they are starting to put the chargers on the northeast regional trains to Virginia.
@MBTA.1035 thank you! Yeah, they are starting to appear more & more lately on the regionals that contuine south of Washington. Chargers also started recently on the auto train alsol!

@geraldstrainstrucksandplan4904 thank you! If your ever in the DMV area I definitely recommend checking out the VRE. Funny enough, the VRE MP36PH-3C have their horns mounted in a box under the cab just like the Sunrail MP32PH-Q, so they sound funky to 😅

@electrictractiontrainsandt3063 💯! 161 is actually the Amtrak heritage unit I have seen the most. For the last 3 summer vacations in Florida, I saw it at least twice if not more.
