Dear Giuseppe, your double bass playing is invaluable and outstanding. I remember your performance at the ARD competition, where your sound and precision shocked everyone. Your exceptional musicianship and mastery of the instrument make you, my dear, a very important icon of double bass music. It is an honor to know you personally, because you are not only a musician or double bass player, but a wonderful person and friend. I warmly greet you and congratulate you on your performance. Once again I had the pleasure of listening to the concert of our double bassist Giovanni Bottesini. Greetings from Zurich

Without a doubt the best performance I have ever heard. Terrific intonation, clarity of notation, but most importantly, interpretively exciting, virtuoistic, confident, expressive. Just terrific. I don't have enough superlatives for this incredible artist.

After watching countless videos and performances of people somehow managing to make botessini's concerto n°2 like a whole different piece, this is without a doubt one of the best 3 versions I've had the pleasure of hearing. I appreciate your talents and take on this beautiful piece, your creativity and passion was just flowing through the screen, and it was felt!
