I recently had a run of 3 ghosts that gave themselves away within a minute of me walking into the map. Demon hunted almost as soon as i walked in the door (default professional). Then i had a ghost where i walked in the door, said "where are you", heard something in the dining room and when i got there the table was completely cleared. And finally i walked in, said "where are you" and the door next to me went from 100% open to 100% closed. If it wasn't for you and Psycho i probably wouldn't have known what any of that meant, so thanks for all the tutorializing. It really helps.
I hope they leave the Obake pause in as a real thing going forward. It's actually a cool way to detect them and very telling. Other ghosts have very distinct hunting abilities and the Obake is otherwise a pretty unremarkable ghost. It's basically a crossdressing Spirit with different evidence.
Insym's strategies have made such a huge difference. Looping has saved me SO many times. I play casually with friends and have been able to upgrade some equipment, but I like the challenge. ❤

Haven't played in a LONG time but you were the one I came looking for when I heard about the new update. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to this game and it's players. I'd have given up the game entirely if you didn't do what you do.
try out the headlamp (lvl 2).. EMF level 3 is a little bit of a downgrade in some cases, the level 2 works from the door and sometimes even from the van, but the level 3 more often than not doesn't. crucifix higher levels have more uses (lvl3 I think) thermometer, the lvl1 is actually pretty nice since it's realtime, while the electronic ones are slower BUT they're more accurate. DOTS, no doubt, upgrade it. the writing book lvl1 is trash, anything better is gold. spiritbox level 2 is fine. uv light lvl2/3 is better since it has more range but the lvl1 is actually pretty good due to being able to throw it on the floor and it working pretty neat. flashlight, higher levels = more light. I don't really use them in the house maps since i prefer an extra inv slot and the headlamp is ok for me. (playing with brightness maxed out anyways) salt is another one of the ones that can help you out a lot depending on the level. same for the tripod, higher level has rotation which is neat.
Ive had several games where i just couldnt get spirit box (despite that being the evidence). I would walk around in the room talking for 2-3 minutes and it would never respond. Tier 1 is now a guessing game when you only get 2/3 evidence between dots and spirit box.
The devs cares alot about the players so please don't disrespect them. That's why these videos are made to help new players the devs are pretty chill people and interactive. It takes time to learn. You can have the ghost set to friendly to learn more about the ghost
Another crybaby about the update. If you think this is “new player experience” then you are sorely mistaken. New players aren’t playing on nightmare and getting hunted 10 seconds after walking into the house. Try playing on amateur like a real new player and the game is completely fine. They give you just enough items to start with to learn before you start unlocking more and more. Starting out with the best stuff and earning the crap stuff later on would be pointless
Exactely. Start at amateur and then go to higher difficulties once you unlocked better equipment and gained more experience. Also, don't play on medium or large maps unless you have better equipment or are a really good player. The small maps are way easier, especially the normal houses. @@davidwaxter66
How would they fix the problem of having a huge difficulty curve due to T1 equipment, though? The intent is that maybe new players are intended to start on lower difficulties to offset the item inadequacy? An idea I had is to start new players with T2 gear until they prestige the first time to give them time to get a feel for the game? Or maybe an option in custom difficulty that allows automatic t2 or t3 at the cost of rewards, say x0.3 for free t2 and x0 for free t3 items where these settings give you the full loadout for just that mission, overwriting any items you own. Could also practice getting standard evidence with friendly ghost mode until you're more comfortable with how they work.
come back to game after 4 months. pre-update nightmare was my playground but now new update got me died by a lot even at professional. tier 1 really made game harder for sure and I don't have other choice but to endure with them until I can unlock further tier xD
You would think that these ghost hunters, knowing that smudge sticks have different time effects for Moroi/demon/spirit, would have started bringing in a stopwatch or a watch in general to keep track of these measurements
15:25 THANKYOU!! I felt bad on my performance alot more after the big update, before that I always play nightmare with my friends and we get most ghosts correct. We're just casual players but it's still fun nonetheless though , sometimes abit pain cus tier 1 stuffs take alot of your time 😅
I'm actually quite happy the game is more difficult. I remember back when the game first came out, when the original thermo was the easiest way to locate a ghost room and start piling in all your gear (since the ghost didn't roam yet at this point.) The game was literally so easy my parents who wanted to join in from overseas started to figure it out and get a little bored. The game requires a lot more thought and patience. I think we forget that many of us started this new update with the 1st prestige with everything unlocked. As a new player, by the time you start getting T2 items, you begin unlocking the harder difficulties and larger maps, which almost require the more advanced items to tackle with efficiency. I haven't started unlocking T3 items yet and I still find myself really struggling with full-size Asylum without a headlight and better candles. I won't be surprised if CJ makes the T1 essential items a bit better for the sake of raising the skill floor, but as long as the skill ceiling doesn't get pulled down, I'll be happy with the changes.
The game has come full circle bro. Guess what my go to item to find the ghost room is now? The T1 thermo. It's so busted man lol. Sometimes I'll find the ghost room before it does a single interaction
@@IDyn4m1CI It's really funny how the T1 Thermo is so good for locating the ghost room. Though it's a struggle to confirm freezing with it when it counts. Broken detection tool, not so much an evidence tool compared to the T3 thermo. Far too often my team is squinting at the T1 thermo wondering if it's actually freezing or not.
I bought a USB pedal to use with livesplit so I can time precisely the smudge time and the hunt time. I sometimes have difficulty saying when a hunt stops if there is no lights. But it was really useful one time my partner said "this is a demon. It hunted too fast" and I could say "no, it wasn't too fast. Last hunt was 26 seconds ago". I'm glad I prevented the group leaving with a false assumption :D
When i first started with the t1 items, i literally only got like 50% of ghosts correct, and made like maybe 400 bucks per mission.... Then I did some no evidence, had a 90% success rate, made 1500 per mission, and the missions were like 10x faster. It just shows how awful the tier 1 items are, that literally using NOTHING is better than using them, lol.
As someone who started playing for the first time after the update and has all tier 3 at this point: the tier 1 DOTS is hot dog-shit in 90% of locations. It works alright in thin hallways where you can bounce it off of walls and/or prop it up on a table/chair. But if you get an even remotely open door-way to the room you're fucked and most likely just aren't going to get it. I had no problems with the other evidences. On another note, I hate the tier 1 ghost orbs because the screen is SO small, it forces me to sit so unhealthily in order to accurately gauge whether it's orbs or not, I had no problems identifying orbs or not, but the screen size genuinely needs a change imo, it's unergonomic and forces bad habits. EDIT: I would like to add, new players do NOT get smudges, it's gated behind like level 15 or 20 I can't remember exactly when. For a surprisingly long time, if the ghost sees you and you don't know how to loop (which new players don't) you're just fucked.
@@mahiwaga3308 it would only be relevant to the obake because only the obake can shapeshift (unless its mimic obake). So if it's a child it's got a lighter footstep than the fat guy. And just to clarify, I'm not saying different ghost types have different footsteps. Just their models.
i just wanna mention, if you want a safer way of looking for dots, you can place down a camera and dots pen and then stare at the dots on the truck monitor. also: T1 emf reader can _jump_ to emf 5, especially if a ghost event just happened (which produces emf 4). that does not mean it's emf 5. for an actual emf 5, it'll be going crazy and show _emf 5 and above._ just make sure the ghost isn't manifesting before you write it down, although according to the wiki that should only make it go from 1-4. go into training or a custom game with a friendly ghost to get a feel for how it works.
I spent last night trying to get a friend acquainted with the game. Trying to teach hiding spots and loops. He died on all but one investigation, lol. Good thing I've been footing the bill.
I really liked starting with complete garbage. In fact I've loved the grind too. The game is honestly way more fun now that you have an actual progression system and every upgrade feels like a massive upgrade. It fits very well with the difficulty system because some of the items really do just let you go up in difficulty like having less or no evidence because the equipment just straight up tells you the ghost sometimes. I think the tier 3 EMF is the best example. It just flatout tells you that you have a twins when it does the double interaction. Same with something like a Yurei. Progression is a good thing and it's honestly not that long of a grind if you actually want to level up. They have given all of the tools to level up very quickly if you choose to do so by just spamming Tanglewood with very easy settings that still give a 4x multiplier. The items are significant upgrades every time you get one and it is very satisfying going up in tiers. I have an actual goal now every time I play which has vastly upped the replayability. It has the perfect perfect learning curve as well.
I don't really like the garbage T1 items, but I do like unlocking more powerful items, feels very rewarding. I'm going for my 2nd prestige now, and luckily I have a friend that is not on the same lvl as me, so he can put in his T2 T3 items when I only have the T1 garbage unlocked lol.
I played when the game first came out and got to ab level 300 then stopped after the first major update but have recently jumped back into it and it’s been crazy the amount of stuff I’ve had to learn and catch up on but it’s been a really fun learning experience. Having INSYM has been super great also as he’s helped me learn so much so quickly
Something Insym doesn't address in these that would be good to add I think is the ghost name. Out of habit he always checks it because back in the old times we thought it was significant but it just doesn't do much anymore if at all, and he doesn't go out of his way to tell people to use it but it might be nice to point out that you don't need it and it's a relic of the games' design. I know it's all implied or unneeded but still, just a thought that occurred to me.
If your monitor has a shadow control option you can change the contrast of the game's shadows and then up the brightness to play that way, hope this helps some people.
My wife and I started playing this game when it first came out, previous to the update we were level 100+ and considered ourselves pretty proficient ghost hunters. Since we came back a couple of weeks ago, we have been extremely humbled.
Something you said made me wonder: are there limitations on the ghost when it changes rooms? Can it literally go anywhere on the map, or is it limited to rooms near/adjacent to the ghost room? (Eg within two rooms adjacent or similar?)
Surprised nobody answered your question. I can't say for certain this is how the game works, but anecdotally it switches to adjacent rooms. On higher difficulties it can change rooms quickly, but I don't believe it can jump across the house instantaneously.
They fixed the spirit box in VR. Past few weeks it couldlnt be picked up. But now VR sanity is insane. Doesnt really drop at all anymore, as long as the lights are on.
I had a Spirit accidently turn off a light right after I turned it on so I filled in Mare and left. Yeah... That was unfortunate. It was 0 sanity, no evidence and was a normal speed ghost during the hunt then did that.
One problem with this video is that new players don't start with smudge sticks and it takes more than a dozen levels to aquire. It would have been more appropriate for a video for new players to start with no smudge sticks as a reference to a lvl 1 player.
Hey Insym, you may have played it recently but if not Ghost Exorcism Inc. has gotten some updates: new modes, new ghost and more. It would be awesome to watch you play it again.
Hi... I've been watching you for a long time and I love how you explain how to play Phasmophobia. I'm a brand new player, I started playing when there was this big update and as a new player I have 2 big problems when I play. 1. is that I can't distinguish between the hunt and the event and 2. is that when there is a hunt I can't see the ghost (ever), I never know exactly where it is. Could you perhaps explain how I go about these problems? Thank you... Luv your videos 😀
for 1. at least, usually a ghost event will either have a light go out/change color or close a door. if neither of these things happen, it could be a hunt. also, when doing an event the ghost will physically manifest immediately, whereas during a hunt there is a grace period where it will not be visible--you can only hear it. so if it pops up right in front of you you know its an event for sure. finally, when the ghost hunts it will lock the front door which has a distinct sound, so if youre close to the entrance youll be able to hear the sound of the lock when it begins a hunt. combining all these three things where relevant will help you distinguish a good majority of the time, but if youre ever unsure its worse to die than to miss out on a ghost photo, so always run as your default as a new player!
@@addimcfarlane5510 Thank you for tips, I will try to pay attention to these things 😀 Do you have any idea why I never see a ghost? The light always goes out and I always turn off my flashlight... Do I have to leave the flashlight on? 🤔 Insym always says you have to turn off your equipment 🤣 I'm confused
1. Keep the door in sight. The door will only close during a hunt or fake-hunt event. Listen for the door shutting noise. Just hide. It's always safe to do so. 2. Turn your brightness up. 90% of the players have their brightness up.
Holding the dots makes it easier, sure, but if you're using even the SHITTY cameras, you can still place the tier 1 DOTS projector. place it on a somewhat lifted surface, if possible, with the dots pointed at a wall within view of the camera. Even then, just having it up against /a/ surface helps, and we've had a lot easier of a time getting DOTS that way.
I bought the game on its release and I have only 150 hours played because I don't have time. Thanks to you, I know some tricks to be good at the game because it get more difficult in every update. Thanks for your explanations.
even with 200 hours in this game before the update I got bamboozled by the T1 EMF constantly because I thought it was going to 5 when it wasnt. I think for the sake of clarity they should make that distinction clear and easy to tell with no gray area for the sake of the beginners and console release
I set the dots flashlight within view of the camera so I can sit in the van and watch. Normally I find if you watch a minute or two on a few trips back to the truck the ghost shows up.
that onryo ghost room change happened to one of our games - but it was an obake ... most rooms didn't hav freezing breath coz the temps aren't low ... then we were in the library room in prison... suddenly we start breathing freezing breath... then suddenly it hunted ... probably one of the scariest encounter coz it found us ... lol
Might I suggest putting the dots pen on the stand with the radio, facing alongside the bed? Might get dots easier? I'm not sure, stuff is just hard to figure where to place things lol
Yooo the new patch notes make it so I can grab my spirit box in VR again hell yeah. Also the lighting was changed so now you don't have to actually be in the light to reduce sanity; as long as the light in the room is on, you're good.
The new progression system has some real problems. The fact that you effectively start the game on hard mode, and then unlock easy mode later down the line, seems a little counterintuitive.
I think what would have been nice is everything that is T2 should have been T1, T3 should have been T2 and then for T3 they should have just come up with some cool additional functions for the items on top of their basic functions but kept the usability the same. This way T1 actually functions and doesn't feel like you are just completely hamstrung by garbage gear and T3 wouldn't be OP would just add some cool extra stuff to make T3 not required but maybe just more fun.
Starting out with the stuff that makes the game easy just to level up and earn stuff that is worse makes no sense. Most people wouldn’t choose to use the shittier gear unless they are trying to challenge themselves but using worse gear doesn’t give you better rewards so they would just stick to the better gear and change the settings to make it harder and earn more rewards
OMG Yeah I started the game I think right after this update, and I legit had no idea what counted as a legit evidence on the EMF and Thermometer (still are a little iffy on those). I watched so many different videos on how all those items worked.
Challenge should be a true causal/ beginner NO pills, smudge, or cross, Tier 1 only Must get all three evident before choosing the ghost type. This game is no longer for causal players. For two years this has been the perfect game for a quick play now it is just a grind.
I can nearly guarantee you that besides raising the chance to answer on the spirit box, devs made it so saying the ghost's name out loud increases its chances to hunt
yea i'd hate to say it but since the update with tier items phasmo became less fun. i was getting frustrated by the equipment not working as it used to, the leveling/progression system is satisfying but the gameplay itself isn't as fun as it was. it has become more challenging and if challenging is fun then that's fine but it isn't for me
Have to agree, I get bored wandering around with no clues ( or clues that mislead e.g bad emf monitor saying 5 but its not 5! ) appearing. Use to be much more fun with less grind when it first came out
I would like to see you make a Ghost Tier List, Item Tier List & Map Tier List for Phasmo's latest update. It would be great to learn more from you. Thanks!
I don't understand I try hiding or looping around the cars exactly like you do, and they always are way faster than the ghosts in your videos move. I can move around Tanglewood without a flashlight, and only play one level above the lowest. Also, if it sees me hide I die, but I usually hide really early in the hunts, and mute my mic, and turn off my equipment. why are all my ghosts so fast?
I play on Steam, I'm not sure if that makes a difference, or what you play on, the headcam at tier 1 doesn't show up on my screen. it lets me wear and use it, no problem, but doesn't cause anything to block my view.
I talked about how they should simply make all the equipment in the previous update to T1 or simply make their appearances different but retain its original stats as before and then introduce new T2 and T3 items, but my conversation got shut down by hardcore players who talked about how unique T1 items are.
I think with the first ghost he forgot freezing temperatures is an evidence piece and due to nightmare difficulty having 1 less evidence present I think we all know what happened
Tier 1 has been a challenge. I enjoy the challenge but I only play in VR so phasmo was already more challenging. Some changes have really upped the difficulty as I play with the tier 1. Like till the update on September 6 I could not pick up Spirit Box anywhere but the truck. I'm terrified the matches will take both VR hands to light and I guess I'll have to light the smudge off my belt.
I got over 500hr in this game and still have trouble with the tier 1 stuff. Specially the DOTS with a Goryo and ONLY A GORYO i dont get DOTS. So if I see DOTS on Cam while im in truck then i KNOW it aint Goryo lol😂
most of the tier 1 items have less charges anyway, I think what they should do is make them have the same efficiency in range as tier 2, but keep their low efectiveness or keep their low range bt increase their efectiveness to tier 2 levels, it feels like a duble nerf. the salt, has a very tiny area anyway, why also take off 1 charge now... or the cross, it has a small area and only one charge, which is like a 2x nerf conpared to tier 2 that has 2 charges and bigger range. same for the book, low response rate and smaller area makes it feel extra less efective than tier 2 at least for the main evidence colecting items... it may make new players feel they are not using the toold correctly, but is mostly the equipment fault.
i always appreciate your uploads! they give me something to look forward to and to watch while i eat my meals for the day and have other downtime. i appreciate your passion and dedication to uploading, thanks for making your communitys days brighter :)
i Feel a coolish feature to add would be T1 stuff are less detectable by the ghosts like electronic wise during a hunt because they are less powerfull and what not then the invers could be true for T3 because they are more powerful if you get what im saying, could juist be a cool concept but this is a half baked idea.
I don't agree, some of the T1 gear is bad like the DOTS, Book and Spirit Box but the Thermo, UV and Incense are best at T1 and a lot of the others like the Salt, EMF, Candle, Matches, Motion Sensor, Parabolic Mic, Camera, Sanity Meds and Tripod are all perfectly suitable for getting evidence and checking off objectives at T1.
My main problem is that you dont get smudgies or sanity pills until the teen levels. it sucks having the ghost already hunting before you can even get all the crap in the house.
You don't start with crucifix either. The lack of defensive options as a new player is the thing that's actually killing me right now. If you can't identify the ghost while hunting you're pretty screwed because it's so difficult to get evidence before your sanity hits 0 with the new tier one stuff.
I started playing about 4 days ago with my girlfriend next to me, we both went in blind and after doing the tutorial we guessed wrong for each ghost for about 3-4 runs in a row. I personally got real upset because the tools never seemed to pick up any evidence, or the evidence behaved on a seemingly completely different ruleset from the tutorial. We'd check items that got interacted with with a UV light - nothing, multiple times, nothing. Only to cross that off as possibility, and then see the correct ghost DID in fact leave UV traces - yeah I'm new but I don't think the tutorial explained that there's only a CHANCE of getting a print after literally watching something happen. This is one example, but as a new player it felt like a big middle finger for playing the tutorial and jumping in. I ended up closing it and not relaunching it after a few hours of playtime because I really did think that the ghosts were breaking the rules of the tutorial to trick me. My girlfriend started watching guides including your videos, and now it makes sense - but holy shit this game by itself didn't hardly explain a god damn thing. Level 8 currently and my god is it a slow process to level up - I just want to use decent tools and it's really going to take a LONG time playing casually.

(playing with brightness maxed out anyways)
salt is another one of the ones that can help you out a lot depending on the level.
same for the tripod, higher level has rotation which is neat.
New viewer, watching your vids for only a few days. And yet, I only leveled up at all because of your advice. Subbed, and staying for good!
Based
Ive had several games where i just couldnt get spirit box (despite that being the evidence). I would walk around in the room talking for 2-3 minutes and it would never respond. Tier 1 is now a guessing game when you only get 2/3 evidence between dots and spirit box.
20:00 that bed likes to eat equipment, last time the blanket just ate my writing book😂
Thank you insym for caring about the new player experience because the devs sure as hell do not
The devs cares alot about the players so please don't disrespect them.
Loosing the D.O.T.S was so relatable. Made me LOL. Thanks for the video.
12:23 i genuinely thought it was MY computer having an existential crisis 💀💀
My first sound after unlocking the tier 3 parabolic microphone was a banshee scream after 5 seconds of turning it on xD
Assuming they fix dots 😅
come back to game after 4 months. pre-update nightmare was my playground but now new update got me died by a lot even at professional.
tier 1 really made game harder for sure and I don't have other choice but to endure with them until I can unlock further tier xD
We're just casual players but it's still fun nonetheless though , sometimes abit pain cus tier 1 stuffs take alot of your time 😅
How to deal with having shitty equipment on nightmare mode ------> KNOWLEDGE!
19:58 How to setup Tier 1 DOTS
I'm actually quite happy the game is more difficult. I remember back when the game first came out, when the original thermo was the easiest way to locate a ghost room and start piling in all your gear (since the ghost didn't roam yet at this point.)
The game was literally so easy my parents who wanted to join in from overseas started to figure it out and get a little bored.
@@nanakixiii3 Yeah I mainly use it to find the ghost room, I don't really count on it for finding freezing temps lol
Can we petition to have the crucifix to be wall mountable, and when it gets used, it turns upside-down as well?
1:10:31 it'd be really cool if each ghost model had it's own footstep audio. So when the Obake shifted it was audible in a way that wasn't a bug.
That wouldnt be fun because it would be 1 hunt and boom.
@@mahiwaga3308 it would only be relevant to the obake because only the obake can shapeshift (unless its mimic obake). So if it's a child it's got a lighter footstep than the fat guy. And just to clarify, I'm not saying different ghost types have different footsteps. Just their models.
I just started playing this game last week and so far I think it’s pretty fun, the tier 1 thermometer is my favorite over the 2nd and 3rd by far.
I appreciate you repeat information. There is so much to take in, and things change so much that you are doing a service by doing this.
i just wanna mention, if you want a safer way of looking for dots, you can place down a camera and dots pen and then stare at the dots on the truck monitor.
also: T1 emf reader can _jump_ to emf 5, especially if a ghost event just happened (which produces emf 4). that does not mean it's emf 5. for an actual emf 5, it'll be going crazy and show _emf 5 and above._ just make sure the ghost isn't manifesting before you write it down, although according to the wiki that should only make it go from 1-4.
go into training or a custom game with a friendly ghost to get a feel for how it works.
I spent last night trying to get a friend acquainted with the game. Trying to teach hiding spots and loops. He died on all but one investigation, lol. Good thing I've been footing the bill.
Learned all the ghosts abilities and common things they do so tier 1 items are no problem, love the new system 👍
I tried doing nightmare to speed up my leveling and my god I cannot tell you how many times the tier 1 spirit box made me choose the wrong ghost
This game has really evolved with this update, ive been having so much fun with it
I really liked starting with complete garbage.
Insym was LVL 16661 before the update lol 😆 i was 416 and there is still sooooooooo much to learn
@@clocked0 Thank you, that super helpful!
They fixed the spirit box in VR. Past few weeks it couldlnt be picked up. But now VR sanity is insane. Doesnt really drop at all anymore, as long as the lights are on.
Insym dead ass the best content creator~
We love you insymmm❤
🎶 Ring around the rosies, a pocket full of posies… 🎶
I had a Spirit accidently turn off a light right after I turned it on so I filled in Mare and left. Yeah... That was unfortunate.
It was 0 sanity, no evidence and was a normal speed ghost during the hunt then did that.
One problem with this video is that new players don't start with smudge sticks and it takes more than a dozen levels to aquire. It would have been more appropriate for a video for new players to start with no smudge sticks as a reference to a lvl 1 player.
You're great. Thanks to your tips, I have a good feeling about playing in VR after the update. Keep it up.
Hey Insym, you may have played it recently but if not Ghost Exorcism Inc. has gotten some updates: new modes, new ghost and more. It would be awesome to watch you play it again.
Dammit. 10x more difficult? Well, that's gonna be a real difficult grind, just to level up threw all 3 tiers.
@HuffyT turn your flashlight off only seconds before you've safely arrived in the hiding spot.
Insym (and Psycho) are why I will never get bored with this game
Holding the dots makes it easier, sure, but if you're using even the SHITTY cameras, you can still place the tier 1 DOTS projector. place it on a somewhat lifted surface, if possible, with the dots pointed at a wall within view of the camera. Even then, just having it up against /a/ surface helps, and we've had a lot easier of a time getting DOTS that way.
Wait.... at 25:00 when devs did tht u can't hide behind opened doors cuzz ghost is checking them, doesn't it count for closet doors too?
I bought the game on its release and I have only 150 hours played because I don't have time. Thanks to you, I know some tricks to be good at the game because it get more difficult in every update. Thanks for your explanations.
even with 200 hours in this game before the update I got bamboozled by the T1 EMF constantly because I thought it was going to 5 when it wasnt. I think for the sake of clarity they should make that distinction clear and easy to tell with no gray area for the sake of the beginners and console release
When he talks looking at the side monitor, does anyone else imagines he's talking to a tiny person?
I set the dots flashlight within view of the camera so I can sit in the van and watch. Normally I find if you watch a minute or two on a few trips back to the truck the ghost shows up.
that onryo ghost room change happened to one of our games - but it was an obake ... most rooms didn't hav freezing breath coz the temps aren't low ... then we were in the library room in prison... suddenly we start breathing freezing breath... then suddenly it hunted ... probably one of the scariest encounter coz it found us ... lol
The ghost is lost in the sauce, OH NOH MARIO NOT THE TOMATO SAUCE FOR THA SPAGETTHI!
Insym is the reason why I got into phasmaphobia
Might I suggest putting the dots pen on the stand with the radio, facing alongside the bed? Might get dots easier? I'm not sure, stuff is just hard to figure where to place things lol
Nvm, got to the part where you sneakily put it on the head board of the bed XD
If I’m being completely honest, I like tier 1 temperature more than tier 3
The next 4 AM Insym video, let's go
I can nearly guarantee you that besides raising the chance to answer on the spirit box, devs made it so saying the ghost's name out loud increases its chances to hunt
yea i'd hate to say it but since the update with tier items phasmo became less fun. i was getting frustrated by the equipment not working as it used to, the leveling/progression system is satisfying but the gameplay itself isn't as fun as it was. it has become more challenging and if challenging is fun then that's fine but it isn't for me
Have to agree, I get bored wandering around with no clues ( or clues that mislead e.g bad emf monitor saying 5 but its not 5! ) appearing. Use to be much more fun with less grind when it first came out
17:49 how did he turned on the lights when the ghost destroyed them
I would like to see you make a Ghost Tier List, Item Tier List & Map Tier List for Phasmo's latest update.
They could add a wristwatch on players model with timer function
Tier 1 has been a challenge. I enjoy the challenge but I only play in VR so phasmo was already more challenging. Some changes have really upped the difficulty as I play with the tier 1. Like till the update on September 6 I could not pick up Spirit Box anywhere but the truck. I'm terrified the matches will take both VR hands to light and I guess I'll have to light the smudge off my belt.
T1 DOTS feels physically painful to use.
Morning Insym! You're my fav
Started the game with my wife like a week ago, the starter experience is absolutely brutal.
I totally forgot i caught this stream so was going insane with "wait i know this, he said this before what the fuck"
i always appreciate your uploads! they give me something to look forward to and to watch while i eat my meals for the day and have other downtime. i appreciate your passion and dedication to uploading, thanks for making your communitys days brighter :)
wait why are the candles called firelights? seems like an odd choice
i Feel a coolish feature to add would be T1 stuff are less detectable by the ghosts like electronic wise during a hunt because they are less powerfull and what not then the invers could be true for T3 because they are more powerful if you get what im saying, could juist be a cool concept but this is a half baked idea.
Damn that onryo was crazy, would have absolutely fooled me too
My main problem is that you dont get smudgies or sanity pills until the teen levels. it sucks having the ghost already hunting before you can even get all the crap in the house.
You don't start with crucifix either. The lack of defensive options as a new player is the thing that's actually killing me right now. If you can't identify the ghost while hunting you're pretty screwed because it's so difficult to get evidence before your sanity hits 0 with the new tier one stuff.
I only had trouble with the dots so far from the tier 1 items. All the others worked pretty well for me.
Who knew waking up early would get me this early to a upload
My issue is with the thermometer. Does the thermometer purposely sit at like 1 degree above freezing to throw you off about the temperature?
