Cories eyes were so sweet and pure when talking about the roses from your grandpas funeral. I love the creek! Thanks for the walk💚 Pressley girls for the win!!!
❤I'm 73 have 5 children and going on a visit to our river out back was our summer fun.. go on good days 9:30 am and stay the day. Cooking on the river. I raised river kids and they are raising there the same . Most people will never know that life we are so blessed
I'm turning 57 in a couple of weeks - I grew up here in eastern NC, having the (almost a mile and a half wide where I am) Neuse River practically in my backyard. I'd catch baby turtles and minnows and such, go swimming, also crabbing and fishing in my daddy's little john boat with him. He taught me how to hit a baseball, and I was really good at that. I miss those times ... riding my bicycle all around our little town was a great adventure for me growing up.
I also grew up by a creek in the forest. It was the absolute best! We’d be there for hours. You’re going to have a full circle moment when watching your boys play in there.
I grew up on a farm and my brothers and I played in our creek all summer long. What memories I have. I am now almost 80 years old and my momma and daddy and one brother are in Heaven and I will see them again. God bless you sweet girls.
I grew up on an island. So we grew up on the beach. My dad taught us to swim when we were very young. I loved to explore on the beach looking for shells, sea worn rocks and sea glass. Every tide seemed to bring new things into shore for us to find. It was a wonderful way to grow up.
Wow!! How special is this❤ I just think it's so wonderful that your baby boys are going to be able to enjoy the same creek their Mommas grew up in😊 that's such a sweet blessing🙏🏼🙌🏼💖
We moved to our property when my son was 2 he is now 27. He daily played in the creek we have and fished and even the occasional polar plunge in the winter with all his friends. They even dressed up in their wresting suits from school and jumped in when it was about 10 degrees outside. Lots of great memories. Now we are enjoying our 1 year old granddaughter playing in it. Good times!
Sweet memories! In another 28 years, your boys will have similar fun memories of playing together! OMGoodness, Corie! I was so afraid you were going to slip! Take care, Ladies! Corie's little man will be here before we know it (I have a hunch he may already be here!)😘 Love and prayers for you all! Jane in SC
How Beautiful with the creek, trees, flowers etc.! Hearing you girls reminisce sounds like my sister and I(eventho we're not twins) we were pretty inseparable and had Lots of adventures in the backyard and still to this day enjoy looking back! I hope you both will too when you're in your 60s! ENJOY!!!! ❤
I am so glad that you showed the yellow rose. That was my dad’s favorite flower. When he died in 1987 we used yellow roses for his funeral pieces. I so love yours and Tipper’s Chanel’s. It was a God send to me after I lost my husband suddenly in April of 2022. Faith in our Lord is all that’s keeps me going. Love y’all.
You all look so happy splashin around! I spent hours picking through the creek near my house as a little girl, too. I get it from my dad who fostered my love of nature as a kid. Even now, I love taking my dogs to the creek. They swim and splash while I hunt for treasures along the bank. Pure bliss!
My husband had a creek in the woods behind his house growing up. Your video made him smile because he loved playing in the creek just like the two of you.
I never had a small creek to play in as a child. My memories were made walking and playing next to the Detroit River. I could look over into Canada from my Grandmother's back porch. Such fond memories of boat races, carnivals, community events... Thank you for sharing the beautiful sounds of the creek and especially you both reminiscing about your childhood days. Praying and Blessed! 🤗🙏💕👣👣
I love seeing y’all hanging out in the creek!! Praying for y’all and thinking I can’t wait for Corie to announce baby!! Can’t wait to learn his name, y’all feel like family from far away❤
No Katy wasn't Blessed to have Creek, I do so love being a part of your lives. You both are precious. Thank u for adding so much joy to my life, something to always look forward to.
Playing in the creek was the best thing. I was so fortunate to grow up by a creek. I raised my children near the beach so they had a different experience. Being outside and playing in water is so important. One summer my adventurous daughter and her friend decided swimming in pools and the ocean would be enough to constitute bathing. Well, why not let them try. Finally they were forced to bathe with a hose and a bottle of dishwashing liquid before they were allowed to come inside. Childhood is a wonderful adventure.
Katie girl, you're a girl after my own heart. Right up in the creek looking for rocks! You two are so cute. What a blessing to live in the woods with a creek on your property- my dream!
I have many creek memories too. Growing up in the hot south going to a nearby creek or river was a real pleasure. You could play and stay cool at the same time.
To be a momma and see your grown twins doing something they used to as children warms their mommas heart. I have identical twin sons and when they get together my heart smiles.
Isn’t it funny how kids are drawn to creeks. Me and my friends used to play all the time in the creek. We had a railroad track between our house and the creek. We used to seine for minnows, fish and go gigging for frogs. Our creek was about twice as wide as yours and there were some holes about 2 - 3 feet deep. Good memories. God bless.
Best years of my growing up was playing in the Farmer's Creek. We had over 50 kids in our neighborhood. We lived at the creek catching tadpoles, frogs etc. We were blessed. That was many moons ago. Remember it like Yesterday. Thanks girls. Enjoy the babies exciting for you all. Love from Michigan.
I have such a fond memory of playing in the creek with my brother and catching crawdads. Well he caught them because I was too afraid. He now plays in the creeks of heaven, miss him so.
Hey there young ladies! I never grew up around a creek, but it looked like a blast! I do hope you both will show your babies!! We'd Love to see them .. especially after Cory's comes soon. God bless!
We had a creek on the farm I grew up on as a girl. It was beautiful. Sometimes, especially when I get anxious, I close my eyes and I am there with my twin sister. Thank you. Prayers. You lovely young ladies are beautiful inside and out.
Some things just set you right back to being a child again. I'm a city girl, but throughout my life, we have often visited our many parks with rivers, creeks, waterfalls, swinging bridges & huge rocks to climb. Fun for every season of the year. With swimming, rafting, sledding, climbing, fishing, biking & hiking. Nothing beats nature, especially when you're young.
I played in a creek by our house catching minnows crawdads and fish. When I visited my Kentucky cousins we played in their creek catching the same things.
Those yellow roses are incredibly beautiful! Y´all built memories of the creek & now Ira & Woody will be a new generation to enjoy it. I look at all those rocks & know that is probably where your love of rocks came from. 😊
I Grew Up with what We called the Spring Branch below our House & Between Our House & My Paternal Grandma's House..I loved to Walk in the Water and like You Ladies, find Rocks There was an old Chimney type setting along the Side of the Spring Well where Originally My Grandparents used to Cook down Molasses! Thank you for this sweet time visiting the creek together with us. Its sound is magically soothing. I’ve lived in Las Vegas, NV ever since I was three. The desert was always my playground. Back then when it was a small town with endless empty desert around the neighborhoods. We would rejoice in our monsoon season, playing in the rain. We’d block off a little walkway from our cul-de-sac to the street behind us and make our own little river. Of course in no time it would get sunny out and all the rain water that flooded everywhere would get dried up without any evidence of a drop of water let alone our make shift river. Fun summertime memories.
Raising the windows at night and listening to the creek is fantastic. The boys will be all over the hollow and creeks it going to be funny watching yall try to keep up with them.
Hi Y'all thank you so much for taking us along on your walk in the creek and especially sharing the old pictures as they are priceless. I can't wait till your sons can play in the creek with you and experience the same joy and wonder. You both are in my Prayers!😊❤🙏🏻🙏🏻
The water in that creek is crystal clear and I bet it's ice cold . Those 2 little boys are going to have so much fun making memories together .It's a wonderful blessing to be able to live where y'all live .The mountains are my favorite place on earth but I live near the beach of Hilton Head S.C. and Tybee Island Ga . Give me the mountains .You girls are absolutely beautiful and y'all are going to wonderful mother's to those precious little boys . Hope that y'all have a great weekend .Love to you both ❤️ ❤️
I would take myself one of those plastic yard chairs and figure out a pretty good place in the creek to settle it in between the rocks. On a hot summer day, I would sit for a while, feeling, the cold water running all around my feet. Listening to the heavenly sound of the water flowing and the birds singing I would probably be feeling a special kind of peace.
I grew up with a stream behind my parents' house. We caught tadpoles, lots of frogs, and turtles. It was so much fun! In fact, I bought a home with a stream and pond for my kids to enjoy! Watching you today brought me back to my own childhood as well as my children's escapades in the stream and pond... It was and still is pure happiness! Thanks for sharing your sweet childhood memories ❤️
I love playing in a creek & so did my kids and now my grands. Isn’t it just so amazing how the water is always flowing. Incredible isn’t it. God bless & keep you girls. Hope to see another little boy soon Corie. 😊❤😊🙏
I love the sound of that babbling brook. I'm in the desert Southwest, with temps around 100 degrees, and I can see myself lying down in that creek letting the cool water flow over me as the crayfish grab at my toes.
You two are the cutest and you warm my heart❤. I'm now almost 70 but yes my sisters and I absolutely used to crawdad fish in the creek behind our house in Richardson, Texas when I was about 8 or 9. We used bacon on a safety pin with cotton string tied to a stick. 😊
I'm a senior now but have lots of good memories of playing in the creek as a child one of my favorite creeks in front of my great-grandfather's house that he built in Madison County during family reunion every year our brothers or cousins with always accidentally on purpose fall in of course our mom's always had extra clothes cuz they expected it
My younger sister and I played in a much bigger creek in Ohio. We caught crawdads, built dams and bridges all summer long. Once we had taken swim lessons and it was more cool to go to the pool, the creek just became a fond memory. Later in life, my husband and I would take the kids up into the Rocky Mountains and let the kids pan for gold, not that they ever found any. The waters in the Rockies were more dangerous so we had to be with them at all times. Still, we had wonderful memories. Your little boys will have their own stories and memories in their future.
Oh yes, we had to cross a street go down a street and then through the woods and down the hill. Me and my sisters and neighborhood kids would like you said play for hours in the creek. Catching fish and crawdads and salamanders. Also, would build dams and kick around in the water. so much fun and great memories. Loved it, This was back in the day when once you finished your chores you were outside all day and didn't want to go back in the house. I was young around 5 or 6, my sisters were older and watching me. We also had and orchard across from our house had, Apples, Pears, Cherries, Plums, Grapes, Sunflower seeds. The only thing we were not to get into was the strawberry patch but you know kids, sometimes we did and the lady of the house would knock on her kitchen window and shake her finger at us. They were the nicest people we could have as much as we wanted just not the strawberries. I had a Great childhood.
We never had access to such a creek, but it would've been my favorite thing if we had! So special and precious. I loved seeing the cute old photos of y'all and was thinking how some of those same rocks are certainly still there (reconfigured). Same rocks, water that many of your beloved ancestors enjoyed. Just precious! Now the the little boys will be whooping it up there for many years to come. 🙌🏼 💞
Oh yes, wading in the creek looking for treasures was one thing we loved to do in the summer! The creek that ran past my grandparents' house had areas that were up to my Dad's waist and he's six ft. tall so, we weren't allowed to wade even the the shallow parts without an adult with us. It's wonderful to explore the creeks and woods and it's a shame kids don't get outside like we used to. I'm older than your Mom and Dad so you ladies are blessed to have been born and raised in western NC where you were free to play outside and use your imagination all the time. Nature can be the best playground and it will be for your boys now, too!
Great to see this! Almost every time I'm having it a little rough you guys drop a video that shows life and the need to be in it. 😊 thank you so much take care and bless you guys and your families! DJ
Motherhood is certainly bringing out your identical twinness, beautiful mamas
Agree! Aren’t they just beautiful?!
I agree 100%❤

The creek is so calming n refreshing
Anyone who didn’t grow up with a creek to play in has missed something ❤
And anyone who did was blessed.
Yes indeed
My cousins always said “there snakes” but we always went into the creek .
My favorite memory’s from my childhood. Winter or summer our days involved the creek. Great memories.
Cories eyes were so sweet and pure when talking about the roses from your grandpas funeral. I love the creek! Thanks for the walk💚 Pressley girls for the win!!!

You are so right! You and yours were blessed almost beyond measure to have been able to have such fun together.

I was a nervous wreck for Katie in that creek--LOL!!! You girls make my day :-)
Me too, I was holding my breath worried she might slip and fall, and then after seeing Katie climb the bank to get out I was really worried.
Prayers that Corie and baby are doing good. I can’t hardly wait for the announcement. Keeping my eyes peeled ❤
I also grew up by a creek in the forest. It was the absolute best! We’d be there for hours. You’re going to have a full circle moment when watching your boys play in there.
I grew up with a creek running through our land. I played for hours alone, loved it. The best way to grow up!
What sweet memories so glad your boys will be able to play were you played when you were growing up ❤
Those boys are going to love that creek. Your going to have a time keeping them out of it.
I grew up on a farm and my brothers and I played in our creek all summer long. What memories I have. I am now almost 80 years old and my momma and daddy and one brother are in Heaven and I will see them again. God bless you sweet girls.

i grew up in a creek and caught cradads and ninnows. Made little aquariums out of Granny's canning jars. That got me in trouble.
I grew up on cartoogechaye creek, and I still live here by the same creek. I love it. My kids do as well
Loved playing in the creek. Could and have just sat, and explored for hours. So peaceful. What special memories for you two. Thank you for sharing! ❤

That creek sound was amazing!
Miss Corie, Miss Katie, so pleasant to visit with you. That rose is quite something. Thanks for sharing. Good vibes and prayers.

What a great place to go to. Id rather have a creek than a cellphone.
I love looking for rocks.
Listening to the creek is so refreshing on a hot summer day.
What a great idea Katie! Looks so refreshing and fun and may make the little one ready to come out!

Great video Katie and Corrie love it thanks for sharing 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I love this video. Everything about it. ❤️

I loved seeing the cute old photos of y'all and was thinking how some of those same rocks are certainly still there (reconfigured). Same rocks, water that many of your beloved ancestors enjoyed. Just precious! Now the the little boys will be whooping it up there for many years to come. 🙌🏼 💞
Thank you for taking us along on your walk..for sharing your memories and your special place! 🏵
Katie you are an amazing sister and beautiful Mother! Thank you and the family for sharing your stories!
My friend and I played in the creek behind our houses for years. Some of my best memories were made there.
The woods were our playground.
Love the walks to the creek. I could sit for hours just listening to it. Thanks for sharing!❤❤❤
I did have a creek. We played in it all summer and had names for different sections of the creek.
