- It's been over 4 months since you've seen the Honda VFR 800 on the channel, but rest assured I still have it! Just wanted to give you all a quick update on what's going on with the bike, and then it left me stranded! I guess it's not the worst thing to happen though because my Uber ended up being a limo! You just can't make this stuff up...

Went through a divorce myself, it completely turned my life upside down. it helps to have a friend or somebody to talk to.

@@LifeOfBurch yeah I'm doing a lot better now, but it took time. especially since my ex-wife turned into the devil the moment she decided she wanted to leave. We fought tooth and nail in custody court for our daughter. I don't know if you have kids. But either way never trust a woman in a courtroom.
Nice ride. To bad on the wife, but life will get better. Neat you have two different style motorcycles to ride. If both are paid off I'd keep them, unless you really want the Rebel 1100. I seen video of it today, looks really nice for around $10,000. I'm thinking of going down to look at one myself. Best of luck.
Sorry about your divorce bro, I've been there. BUT...it gets much better, trust me. I'm re-married and couldn't be happier. Shit, she told me yesterday, "go ahead, get the new Rebel" lol.

That is a bummer. Either the battery is dead, or the alternator isn’t working to charge it.
But that is AWESOME you got picked up in a limo!
Sorry to hear about life getting turned upside down, that is never fun.
I’m pretty certain it’s just the battery. It was sitting before I bought it and then I let it sit for 3-4 months without a battery tender before this ride. I should’ve known better!
@@LifeOfBurch you can check the voltage on the battery as well to make sure it is charging. That ride should have been enough to charge it, unless the battery is just bad like you think.
Hooe your doing ok buddy. Had 4 vtecs so far in my life.. i sell them and then realise what's missing in my life and buy another.. Needless to say I now have a 2019 CB1000r which I vlog on but it still doesn't fill the void in my life. As I can't afford 2 good bikes I have bought a 1990 gen3 thats a bit of a mess but plan is to get it road worthy by the spring so haven't ridden her yet.. Hence why I found your channel. How does the 750 compare to the 800? Miss my vtecs like mad. 👍
Ooo the CB1000r’s are sick! I’ll have to check your channel out! In my experience, both the 750 and 800 are great bikes. Similar enough, but very different at the same time. I think I actually prefer the seating position of the 750 because it was less pressure on my wrists. I also love the 750 because as cliche as it sounds, “they just don’t make em like they used to!” Aka they just feel like solid machines all around. They just feel so “mechanical” whereas newer bikes tend to feel “electronic” of that makes sense. I will say though, I don’t miss having a carbed bike. I just don’t know enough about them to want one again. The VFR800 is much more responsive, and feels bigger yet more manageable in my opinion. Either way, they’re both great bikes in their own rights and both have that awesome V4 sound! Now you’ll get to enjoy the gear-driven cam V4 sound 🤤 Hope that helps!
