Mike Force has finally released, but is in beta (so don't expect it to be perfect). Here is the workshop link: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2477873447
You should be able to find the base beta release on the workshop now, or the server browser has a new menu you can find all games currently running it.
If your a shy person you dont need to speak in mike force you can use ctr-t to mark enemies around the current ao and youll see a lot of your team mates engage there and if you hold or press tab dont remember which you get a lil emote wheel that you can use to tell people what your thinking like ambush or enemy spotted

@@Drnken229 Actually, you don't have to buy it. There's a compatibility patch for the mod available on the workshop, that'll let you play on any server that's running it. CTI was in Arma 2, but it didn't start there. The original gamemode is from Operation Flashpoint. The concept has evolved over time and it's come a long way though, there's always new stuff in each iteration that keeps things fresh. Sure, there isn't much to be done about the core gameplay loop of taking over towns or bases over and over again, but there's a lot that's been added to the mechanics, like logistics and side objectives that contribute to the main gameplay. In the early OFP days the enemy AI wasn't even smart enough to send counterattacks, and the logistics were limited to "take towns to earn money over time, build gamey factory building with money, spend money to buy vehicles from factories". Like you needed to build a tank factory to buy tanks, or a light vehicle factory to buy hummvees. And you only had 1 base, which could be packed up and moved but destroyed all your factories in the process. Also, no friendly AI at all.
The same could be said for Warlords, Antistasi, Vindicta, most ALiVE scenarios and a lot of other gamemodes. It doesn't mean it has nothing new to it. In fact, each of these gamemodes, while sharing similarities, are quite different from one another.
Yeah its CTI but it is a very cool take on it, just because it originated from Arma 2 doesnt make the game mode any less amazing, Dice battlefield make large multiplayer maps with the same rules and formulas and its on rinse and repeat but gets improved. This is just Arma's formula for utilizing what Arma was built for

@@br0bie43 That's really funny, you know you have the same name as the swellest possibly most upstanding man I know. Met him in my current Arma unit.

Mike Force has yet to be released for dedicated servers as the devs are still ironing out bugs, though it is hosted on public servers
On the first screen if you play on a server, says you can find it on the steam workshop. They also a have github to report issues and for updates.
It's on the SOGs website the mission file got released today

How do I become a heli pilot (I dont know how to change teams)
Press “H”, click the tiger icon next to your name, and then choose green hornets
You have to be near the officer near the map too
What are some good public servers to play this on? Especially if you’re new to MP?
You can always join mine, but just check the server browsers for public ones. (If you wanna join mine, get the discord link in my description)
Come on over to Mike Force beta no mods newbie-friendly server
Can we do this with AI as opposed to having to join a loaded server?
In theory yes, but it would be really hard

Great Vid :D
this looks like rising storm 1
Too many snakes in Mike Force. Completely unrealistic, even if we were simulating a snake zoo. Kills the gameplay.
Lol this is a great take
Always turn up when you're outnumbered, alone and trying to hide your position.
Honestly sounds like anastasi
Nothing like Anastasi, isn't that like a Gurilla warfare simulator? This is more like invade and annex with custom base building
sad its an expensive dlc, dont have the money for it so I guess I can buy it when the gamemode lowkey died out already
dude its 20$

how many players are needed for it to be playable
I’d say at minimum six to be able to do some stuff, but the more the merrier
Is there anything in that DLC that is playable as a duo
