Love what Ben is doing. I’d like to see him do a Canoe or Hawkbill Pruner or maybe an Ettrick. I really love some of these modern slip joint interpretations of traditional patterns. But dammit man, why can’t all knife designers get together and stagger their drops and pre-orders so I can get them all?! 🤣 The Null Knives Raikou pre-order opens tomorrow and then the Jack Wolf the next day. I don’t mind dropping some coin on the knives I like, but have you seen the price of eggs and gas lately?! So I’ll probably miss out on this Jack Wolf. Sad face. Good stuff as always, Jim👊🏻
I love modern traditional. The Ohio River jack and the jigged Ti hedgehog are both amazing knives along with the j.wolf knives. However I want to check out the new Medford slipjoint. Have you seen or experienced it yet?
I’ve been waiting and waiting for the right JW slip joint to come along…….it’s getting closer. I’m not a fan of the sodbuster pattern but I am most definitely a fan of the material make up of this one. I think the Vampire or the Javelina in this spec would be a definite buy for me.
Well, typically, a slipjoint will be carried as a pocketknife down in the pocket, so I’m not sure there are plans for any. However, the Gunslinger does have a clip, and while it looks like a slipjoint, it’s a flickable, locking Jack Wolf.
Do you have an Alien pistol ? Man , they’re so sweet looking . Dude had one at the range . He offered but I don’t shoot other peoples guns . It looked like something you would like .
it's definitely expensive lmao, saw them when they released and that was before they got price hiked and it was pretty nuts. Definitely a cool gun though, Laugo is awesome they also make quality 7.62x25 which I wish they'd make a more affordable pistol for with a double stack mag. I love 9 mm but 7.62x25 is something truly special.
@@JimSkeltonKnives dull as a butter knife is exaggerated. It doesn't cut paper cleanly or even well. I also seen a video of a guy testing one out of his truck and he also said the factory edge was dull but once he sharpened it it was great. So I figured it was most of them. I can tell you one thing though. 300 for a dull or burnt edge is the first and last jack wolf I buy.

@@darthvaper6745 You are truly operating with a room temperature IQ if you think a small, boutique slip-joint brand has enough spare funds to constantly pay off the dozens of reviewers who showcase Ben's knives on their channels. Sure they receive a free variant of each model during a new release (most of whom are very transparent in disclosing that info prior to reviews) but that's no different than any other company, large or small, that send in free new knives for channels to review. I can't think of a single company that charges reviewers for the knives they send in, and there damn sure isn't companies who are exchanging cash, along with the knives, prior to a review lol

Well, it’s not a difficult concept to grasp. Traditional design brought modern through material and finishes that didn’t exist decades ago on the original designs.
Great review- I like positive reinforcement. My jigged Ti version should be here on Monday !
Love the Jack Wolfs 🐺

I love that Purple Magic Swirly Do one!
Looks great even if it won't stop you from getting sick on the Oregon trail.

Do all Jack wolf knives come with the pocket sleeves?
I think they do 👍🏻
When is a pocketclip being introduced??

My jack wolf came dull as a butter knife. Couldn't even cut paper. Horrible factory edge.
Wow that’s crazy. All of mine are crazy sharp. Haven’t heard anyone say they got a dull one before either. Sorry to hear that.
