Plant Abundance Thank you... may I ask addition question pls as I am a newbie. I live in the area where we have light snow in winter. How should I prune the roses... in winter or early spring? Thank you
Thankyou very helpful . 😊
Thank so much !!
Than you so much for this post. I planted my roses in the spring and they were so gorgeous until about 7 weeks ago. They became over grown with this fungus and I didn't know what to do. Today I gave them a heavy pruning for the fall. I'll take your advice with the methods you used and cross my fingers for next spring.

Thank you so much appreciate your help I do have that problem😊
I love my rose bushes and I was disappointed when I saw my rose canes with black cankers. I bought the Cooper fungicide and I was surprised how fast the black cankers faded. To my surprise, and after clipping my bush down to the ground, the bush started to bloom again. I did water the bush entirely but I will use your tip and only water at the base. Thanks for the video! 💐
Thanks really helpful

I have a rose bush that is taking forever to bloom. It has the spots, so I am going to do as shown in video and I hope it blooms soon. Thank you.
Good Video.
I constantly have this problem in North Carolina with all the rain here
Thanks very helpful
No problem!
Good video
Thank you for this video. My roses have spots on them and full of yellow leaves, so I cut off all the leaves. What can I do to grow them back quickly. These roses are in my flower bed. Now I see I have been watering wrong. I need not water the foliage. I will only water the root area from now on.
When I picked off the bad leaves which had a disease, I had a soapy container that I would dip my fingers after I picked each leaf to stop the spread of any possible spores to leaves that are healthy.
Hi, I'm new to growing roses and mine have yellowing leaves. I think it's from heat distress and possibly burning, so how do I fix this?? Oh, nearly forgot to add they have only recently been transplanted (not sure if this makes a difference or not). Help as I really don't want them to die.
I pulled the sink leaves but now I don't have put a few leaves left I rose bush is a rose twig. Thanks for sharing
hey great video very informative .
may i ask what do you use for that powdery kind of like black oily on the leafs looks like smoke ash im sure you know what I'm talking about.... what to use and how you use it thanks
Sounds like powdery or downy mildew. This can be treated and prevented the same way as blackspot. If the problem is widespread you may want to only remove the worst of the leaves before treatment and plan to do a heavy pruning in the fall. Horticultural oil such as neem can also be helpful in the prevention and maintenance of plant mildew. Neem oil can be applied regularly throughout the growing season in the same way as the copper fungicide. Underwatering can contribute to the formation of mildew. Make sure to give your roses plenty of water and water at the base of the plant and not on the foliage. All the best!
I wish I watched this video earlier, I thought the yellow leaves and black spots appeared were because my roses were attacking by bugs, so I only used the bugs killer spray and removed some of the leaves. Now whole branches are covered with white stuff. Is there any treatment for that?
I am wondering how long it will take to revive my rose from this? If it will help before the whole summer is gone? Thank you and please answer
How I wish I had known this long ago. Maybe I will try another rose bush.
Could you please give me a link of this products to buy directly, I will appreciate it Thank you very much
How do I get rid of rosebush starts growing up in my yard... taken over the yard
My cream and yellow roses are covered with black spots, but nothing on the pink or red bushes!
Make sure that taking of the leaves from one plant to désinfect material as this disease goes from one bush to another. Désinfect scissors too
Can I spray on the buds that has insects on it?
Hiii needed help can you any one give us good suggestion what to do with my rose plant....
I think due to more fertilizer my rose plant leaves turns yellow all leaves fallen now only stems remained again not seeing new leaves what to do now pls tell me
Hybrid tea roses are high-maintenance. If you're not willing to spray and dust on a weekly basis don't plant them. If you let the fungus get out of hand it can kill the rose bush.
I have this discoloration being spoken of here in this video but there’s also a yellow pollen looking substance all over it. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or if it’s part of black spot. Does anybody know. I’ve tried finding other videos talking about the yellow stuff but can’t find one so far. Thank you!
Rust?
so the garlic didn't work???
My mom gave me her potted rose bush to plant in my garden. All of the leaves had black spot. So I took them all off. Will the plant recover? Is there anything I can do to help it along?
Yes. In some places we prune and strip the whole bush of leaves. What you want to do is spray with a fungicide and then if you want to boost the rose you can feed them some kelp and fish fertilizer. I use Serenade which is organic, but any fungicide will do. Remember water the rose sparingly because in pots they can be fussy. I actually have some in clay pots.
@@Rinsuki my roses have black spots, even the stems. 😢 Should I cut them too?
I moved to this house 4 years ago. There are roses here. I know nothing about roses. These roses open quickly and by the next day the petals are falling off. There is a lot of shade here. Any idea?
I know it's late but this is normal, It just depends on the rose, I have some that bloom and only last a day or two and others that bloom and the blooms can last a couple of weeks.
I have a rose bush where this is on the trunk. would this same method work?
Black spot disease can also infect rose bush canes. They will need to be completely removed as well in order to get the upper hand and stop it from continually spreading.
Great video. I treat mine with urine. Haha don't worry I've researched it loads for fertiliser and urine is the best. Once you use you won't regret it.
First time, I read that.
Please addressrose BUDS THAT TÙRN BLACK
Thank you for the informative and entertaining video it was good. I did not hit the like button simply because I don't want my feed to be inundated with rose bush videos. I think RUclips should do a little better with that technology one should be able to like a video and then slow the flow I guess you might say I know this is unrelated to your video but I thought I'd comment on it
What about those green tiny little insects that feed off of the new growth? I noticed 2 of my roses are being attacked by those little suckers 😫😣
spray them with a little neem oil in your watering can
Great info! Ty
My pleasure. Thanks for tuning in!
