Well done fella! Brought back memories for me. I did my DAS at 35 in 2019, took me 6 attempts to get my MOD1, 3x on going too slow for the hazard swerve, literally 1kph under! 2x I knocked a cone and the first time I locked up the wheels doing the emergency stop. Nailed the MOD2 first go tho! Looking forward to seeing part 3 now.
May I ask, how much extra did it cost for the extra attempts on MOD1? My concern is retakes over minor issues, hoping it’s not a grand every retake lol
My understanding is that each retake of the Mod 1 is £15.50 plus the cost of the bike hire and instructor time. So all in, it shouldn't be more than £200 to do a mod 1 retake.
Bloody well-done buddy Just did my CBT and going on to MOD1 soon it was 49 years off a bike before doing my CBT I was a big biker in the '70s but never did my test I missed the granddad rights because I was away in the Army serving my country, then marriage and children so only now able to get back in the saddle, keep them lifesaver looks going on your MOD2 and all the best remember every other car, van , truck is trying to kill you, best of lusk buddy.
Are the schools still doing the whole hi viz vest kinda thing in 2024? Hi viz doesnt work if they arn't looking at you. Riding techniques and lights reflectives are better.
I'm just putting this here as a like button for Sophia really, she seems ace!
"Yaaaay, that's the puppy.. don't be lazy!" 😄

Where’s part 3?
Did you have to read the license plate from distance at the start? Like a driving test?

I have a cb125r and after I do my mod 2 and get a full licence it’s going to be 20% cheaper on insurance.
