Nice setup man 👍🏼. I found you through the Facebook group. I have 2010 tundra double cab and just starting my system. So far I only have a apex audio 5 channel and my 2 SQL-15'S. The plan is to do an IB blowthrough 😁. For the front stage I want a wideband in the dash and midbass in the doors for now until I get a dsp later. Then maybe I'll do a 3way maybe IB my midbass if I can find a way. If you haven't already check out PSSOUND on YT. He does awesome videos on SQ builds.
So the 6.5 speakers in the doors are the only ones that fit? Everything else will require some cutting and modifying? Not sure I’m ready to chop up the new tundra
@@ballz50401 the stereo integrity tweeters are 2 inches right? So they could fit in the 4inch cutout on the dash? I’m trying to picture how a 3 way would work but I think a 2 way might be easier to pull off.
@@marathonbaker The factory dash speakers are 2.5". I believe the depth is 1.75". I was able to fit the Morel CCWR254 and Audiofrog GB25 pretty easily with a custom made mounting bracket. Had to make some major mods to fit the SI M3's. Not sure how deep the SI M25's are if that's what you're asking. Could always use a spacer to get more clearance.
Those are just cheap Chinese Focals. Some of the higher end focals sound amazing. AudioFrog GB’s sound insane too. I hear you on the class A amps. They drain too much power. Some of the new class D tech is amazing now. I love Mosconi if one was to compete, but daily, it will drain alternator quick. On some newer cars you have to be careful. It stinks all this equipment has gone up a lot with inflation. My same build I was gonna do years ago was 8k in parts. Now it’s 10k plus for same things. Amps have gone from 1289 to 1799. I wish I did it all years ago.
There is some floor noise present at low volume because of my gain structure. It's not audible with the engine running. There is also some noise during startup, but I eliminated that by adding a time delay relay to the amps remote input wire.
i wouldnt buy anything from focal never have even back 20 years ago, just super bleek and harsh.those stereo integrity 6.5's i always wanted to get my hands on a set but they were never available but i heard they produce tons of bass...
I like this video. I'm looking forward to your other speaker reviews. Thanks for sharing.
Cool build, system
Demo would be appreciated

6x9 with 3" depth will work.

If you're talking about using the new M25 mkII, you could mount those in the sail panels for a 3-way setup.

You have any noise issues with your DSP? I tried it a while back and ended up getting rid of it because the feedback was ridiculous

Did you have to do anything special to get your dayton dsp to shut up?
Also, let me know if you wanna sell the m3 carbons.
