Got a new toy at BuQeye BBQ, the Chud Press. Can't wait to use this amazing new toy. Today I give an overview of it, season it, and cook a little bacon. Thanks for watching.
I just pulled the trigger and got mine with their small Memorial Day sale.... Question....how do you CLEAN this thing? Since it is carbon steel...you don't want to leave water drops on it to cause rust...so, curious how you've been cleaning yours. Thank you in advance, CC
have been thinking lately that I need to get it out again. I clean it like I do my griddle. generally just scrape it down and oil it. for any tough stuff I use water and steam, scrape, then oil. And yes, gotta make sure it is dry. Paper towel and tongs…
youre gonna love this. Im in exact same situation. I wanted to and finalyy bought it for memoiral day sale, and itll be delivered for me tomorrow and I was wondering how would cleaning it go lol
I have not used it that much. Not for any negative reasons, just busy with life. I have used it indoors on the gas range to make tortillas. Worked well. it is heavy and somewhat awkward but once you find a good set up for it, it is a solid tool for sure.
@@Kindlyone777 Actually...watching Bradley on his show about this...he said that it WAS carbon steel....except for the trough, which I do believe is SS. On that episode, he mentioned the trough being SS and could put it in dishwasher, but later in the show he said the whole thing is not SS, but is carbon steel, hence your needing to season the whole thing.... Any update on how you are liking this? Have you used it indoors at all?

@@BuQeyeBBQ I’d love to see how you use it indoors. I live in Wisconsin and can’t cook outdoor year round.
@@rundeks I will try to do something soon!
Do you have a link for the Wok burner you found on Amazon to run this on top of?
Thank you in advance,
