I personally prefer metal frames myself, but I skate a ton of park. I have solas, flat frames, adapt aluminums and 5050 prime frames. They all have their purpose and size differences and what not, great for different things and all so fast and responsive. Defintiely harder shock but not really a problem skating park with shock absorbers
@@chrischadwick1 maybe the old fear of sticking on crusty ledges like with the impala 62 back in the days. But on coping I think these could be a lot of fun. But I am with you, I will only buy them if someone tests them extensively beforehand. 😜
Yeah I think Metal is a bit more shocky on the landing. Not really noticeable off a knee high ledge but you feel it more on gaps. But in return the frame feels and sounds so much more solid!
Symetrics plastic are my new fav frame ! Amazing lock on the grind, no wheel bite and slide like butter. I'd love to try some sola one day but I mostly skate concret ledges
@@chrischadwick1 Oysi frames with 57mm 90a inner, 70mm 95a outer. Experimenting with the hard soft wheel setup. They're pretty lovely. I don't know if I can ever try any other frames seriously after this. Have you ever tried suspension frames?
@@marcbenjamin6841 that's a dope setup man. I love my oysi frames both medium and original. I skated Fiziks and those kizer freestyle ones back in the day. I loved em but always found once the pads wore out they became clacky and gross. I would love to see it done again with today's design and materials.
I didn't mention weight but I do have the figures Pair of Sola frames with wheels andd hardware 1.5kg size L Oysi medium size large with wheels and hardware 1.39kg 🤙
Glad to have you back, hope all is well.
Thanks bro. It's great to be making videos again. Thanks for watching 🙏😁
Great comparison!
Thanks bro! I was pretty pleased how this came out. Hope your studies are going well dude!

@@pogoSK8 haha yeah agreed!
Is there a noticeable difference in shock from jumping off say, a knee high grind?

Great video. Well informed and thought out, and well edited. Some average skating to top it off 😉
