i mean when used in this tutorial the guitar vst kind of acts like an arp which mine used to do but now its just single chords no matter what i do i dont understand why

Playing an instrument is not just fun, It's something like the feeling that you can make those sounds without an PC, there are a lot of stuffs that you can't do with PC but can with an Instrument. On top the best thing is that (especialy at rock) is very energetic/catchy/fun playing an instrument than using a PC or tablet to make music. I tried to make a rock song in FL Studio several times but trust me, is better to have instruments, record it and play your song with your band (in case if you have one). Now I use FL Studio only for the drum beat/EQ/Distorion/Guitar Effects/Recording.
You are right ...but fl is far cheaper than real instruments....and it is easy to make beats in it ...rather than practicing on that real instruments ....which takes long time to make perfect or average beats or whatever
