That "rock" looks like a very large vertebrae or hip bone to me. Obviously it doesn't consist of toxic minerals, so it turned out perfect. You could make a fortune selling these rock for aquariums. Beautiful. Good job

Big snail population is just showing that there is too much food, reduce the food. Snails are great.
